Washington state does not have the death penalty. In April 2023, Governor Jay Inslee signed SB 5087, which formally abolished capital punishment in the state and removed provisions for capital punishment from state law.

I entered the doctor's office and the receptionist said,
"Hello sweetie, are you feeling bad today?"
This was followed by a young frat looking guy entering and her saying, "May I help you?"
