Spectrum bait and switch?

Two days ago I received a message in the mail from
Spectrum that my internet cost would go up to 85 dollars a month effective the next day.
In the afternoon mail was a mailing from Spectrum offering internet for 50 a month for a year. I called the number and requested that plan and was told that was for new customers. Told him no where did that appear.
The agent tried selling me a phone bundle and I ended the call. I have brightspeed coming next week.
Rant over.

I found my great grandmothers obituary and it listed her parents. I clicked their names and did the same for their names and so on until I found a 6th great grandfather who was born in 1732 and great grandmother born in 1740.
