I started as a heel striker. I’m now a forefoot striker as nature intended. Contrary to what others have said, I didn’t find the transition too bad. It did take time. Heel striking is a product of modern footwear. You can’t heel strike running barefoot. Can’t do it. And yes, this opinion is unpopular and in the minority.
