Hoke made a post saying CBM breached his contract with Auburn when he entered the portal so now Auburn has no obligation to pay him any certain amount. So hypocritically if the coaches allowed him back it could be at a lower amount than previously, but also implied that he’s not sure the coaches want him back.

As the biggest CBM defender on here last year, I’ll go ahead and say I hope we don’t bring him back and I hope we hold him/whatever team he goes to, to the full amount owed to sign him. I think he’s a very good ball player and could have been a major part of the team this next year, but I can’t see things working out in the future from a chemistry standpoint after this stunt.

Spot on. I was the biggest CBM defender this year, but I can’t really see a path to him coming back. It’s one thing for a guy to test the waters, it’s another when that guy does it after already agreeing and signing a deal with his current team whose HC went to bat for him time and time again when the vast majority of coaches would have sent him packing.

Lamar Wilkerson no longer visiting after his UK visit. Sounds like he’s gonna be a wildcat. UK is not messing around this cycle. Sounds like they’ve told Pope spend whatever you need to get what you want.

Young, high-ceiling big. Tore his ACL so that’s a factor. I think he would do well under this staff’s development.

If Bruce finds an elite 4 or 5 that can score in the paint I’m sure he will go after him, but I agree. I could definitely see us looking more like the previous FF team with the talent we will have 1-3.
