Guys can you please take this discussion to another thread like the wash your hands thread or something? As Ross & awestruck said this is not the thread for the debate on the seriousness of Covid-19 no matter which side you are on. This thread is for updates on anyone having the virus, knows anyone having the virus, & the healthcare workers busting their asses 24/7 to help us get through this mess & wishing them all well. So again, out of common decency & respect please take it somewhere else! Thank you!
& for those wondering my mom is thankfully doing well. She has her 1st of 2 tests tomorrow. Both have to be negative.

Great news E and my apologies, never meant to turn your thread into a pissing contest. Just got triggered by a ridiculous statement.

Meanwhile we got people in here talking about 12% of 7.5 billion dying in two months going unchallenged.
I never said that...simply that the reason for the drastic measures is about hospital, specifically critical care capacity in an area. If you crash that capacity you could end up like Italy. It really isn't rocket science.
E...I won't reply again. Thankful your mom seems to be getting better.

Yeah you kinda did. You probably didn’t mean to imply it, but this kind of drastic social media posting is feeding this frenzy.

Monday, April 6 update: my mom got tested for COVID-19 this morning. The doctor also wanted to get me and my dad tested to even though we haven’t shown any symptoms yet so we just got tested. They are sending the tests to the labs at the end of the afternoon and expect them back Friday or Saturday.

So hopefully this is the last update. We just got the results back from our tests and we’re all negative for the Rona including my mom. Thank you all for those who wished well and prayed! It means a lot!

Need yawls prayers again. My mom is sick again and has been since early to mid last week. She had been stubbornly refusing to go to the doctor until today when her blood oxygen level dropped to 85. We are concerned she may have picked up the Rona again. Definitely not the way I want to start my birthday but please keep us in your prayers.
