If you have any underlying health issues please take the Rona seriously. The tests just came back & my mom has it again & has been much tougher for her to beat it this time.

Prayers for sure.

I’ve read that getting it a second time would be more protective from Pneumonia complications. The infection interval was 5 years and obviously it was theoretical

Do you mind me asking if she has COPD? That SpO2 is obviously very concerning. Is that resting or with exertion?

First thing in the morning after a night of O2 going through her CPAP. Today it's been as low as 83 & as high as 94.

I assumed so. I was curious based on the saturation difference

And fricking Alabama students throwing Covid parties. Wear a damn mask if you are a true patriot, it’s not that hard.

Sending positive thoughts to you and your mom E.

totally agree.

Hopefully too..the drugs they are administering, if needed are there where they may not have been available in April. Doctors have a better grasp on how to treat it too...

Disappointing that people need to pick fights in a thread about prayer requests.

Sums up this board at this current time. Everyone is a badass and has to prove it. Can’t pass up making a statement.

Not pointed at you Buck. Just wish those that want to get into internet scuffles would stay out of threads like these. There’s plenty of other places where this is welcomed on this website. This thread isn’t one of them.

True... Everyone should go shite on another thread.

Hope E's mom recovers again!

Although that is insane, I thought the "experts" said you couldn't get it twice. Seems like that was the whole purpose of the antibody testing.

There’s no true expert for a novel virus. Just a lot of smart people making the best assumptions they can based on the body of information (that’s continuing to grow and show new trends).

Anyways, yes, this isn’t the place for fights. I shouldn’t have taken it this far either.

Just tired of the bullshite in this thread in particular. Let’s keep this about E and his mom Also very anxious for an update.

Same here. Wish nothing but the best. But when you have posters like Pube Crab above citing “patriots should wear masks”,and the admins allow it, but then those same admins delete anti-mask posts.

Talk about one-sided.

Prayers to all and this great country

Thanks for asking Nino. Sorry took so long to replay. Went to bed after the race last night. My mom feels better. She's still coughing some but her fever broke yesterday. 1st day in almost 2 weeks she didn't have some type of fever. Her Blood oxygen has been better the last day+. I believe it's been in the 90s in that time. Her normal nonsick is 92/93. She's been on oxygen at home since Thursday or Friday. She talked to her doctor this morning & he thinks the worst of this round is behind her. Me & my dad are good I think. We are going to get tested this afternoon. He has a cough but hope it's not part of Rona. Thank you all for praying & asking.

I've had a small cough for the past week. The southeast was hit by a couple dust clouds from the Sahara a week ago and it's been causing coughs/sore throats...all that said, that's probably what is messing with your dad, but its smart to go ahead and get tested. Good luck, keep us updated
