Austin Mack reclassed and was still 76th in the country

Why would you tell Sayin to leave and not the others?
Because it probably didn't happen that way.
There's too much panic going on right now for my liking.

He’s already proving it. It disassembled the staff and now he’s doing the same to the roster. Come on guys. Open your eyes. Byrne fricked up
If DeBoer's system is completely different than Saban's why wouldn't he completely disassemble shite and build it back to be conducive to his system?
Do you really want DeBoer to try and be Saban, or do you want him to be himself?
I trust coach DeBoer to know what he needs to win. Sayin wasn't leaving. DeBoer believes Mack can run his system better than Sayin. So....I do too.

Some only chase stars. They can’t or won’t actually look at film.

Agreed, I don’t believe it went down the way it’s being reported, has to be more to it than just DeBoer just woke and decided I’m sending Sayin packing today.

You mean some like our coach who obviously didn’t watch Sayin’s film?

Or DeBoer wanted his guy and has ignored Sayin since he got here.

Washington offered him a scholarship.
Seriously, mods, please ban this cvnt.

If that's the case I wish Sayin luck because he stayed true to his commitment until the point it looked like he might waste away behind someone younger.

They need to take out the trash. That same guy started the rumor that Miss Terry was sick.

If Julian was told to leave then why is he and his father telling Pete Thamel that Julian came to play for Nick Saban and when he retired that changed everything. I also tried to find where Tim said Julian was “pushed out “ and I didn’t see or hear him say that at all. Where exactly did you see that on BOL I can’t find that video or a write up of him saying that. I’m not being an a-hole I genuinely want to see or read him saying that?

Is he good at intermediate passes? Mobile?

Not only is there absolutely no evidence of this happening, there's evidence of the opposite.

Exactly! DeBoer is doing exactly what he was hired to do, what any good coach would do, and what Nick Saban did when he was hired. He’s installing his staff and his system. That’s what he is supposed to do.

Another example of, as great as he was, a destructive cult of personality developing around Saban.

Sayin wasn’t pushed out, and to think otherwise is just plain stupid.

As shitty as I feel that Saban is gone, I am glad DeBoer is doing this. If DeBoer's system works, but the cost is one 7-6 year, I'm more than fine with it.
If Sayin was recruited to run Rees's offense, and Coach DeBoer thinks Mack can run his better, the I'd say we dodged a bullet. Let Sayin's NIL be somebody else's problem.

This you?
Yes, it is me. However that isn't panic; that's despondency. I have complete faith and confidence in DeBoer's ability to do a good job. I was just under the mistaken, school boy belief that the current batch of Alabama players (at least the starters) were loyal to the school and not just to the coach. Bond and Downs leaving absolutely disabused me of that notion and it hurt. Why did it hurt? Because I remember 20 some odd years ago when shite hit the fan with the NCAA and Franchione leaving. We had players like DeMeco Ryans who genuinely loved Alabama and who remained through all the trials and tribulations of that era, played four years, became an All-American and went high in the NFL Draft. He had a solid NFL career and is now the head coach of an NFL playoff team.
I had hoped that the players on this current roster would have stuck around but alas the game is all about money and social media clout now. It pains me and it made me bleed. However, I have recovered from my melancholy and am back to being a fan of the sport despite my misgivings toward everything that is going on. Sooner or later this shite will get fixed and things will come back to a certain level of up and up.
