Absolutely…
Hurts was returning SEC offensive player of the year and Tua had never taken a snap of collegiate ball. Now by the end of the season, Tua was definitely better!!...

Agree. There are several ways to build a winning program. Saban chased stars, and when we had great coordinators and position coaches, that worked. DeBoer choses to build through team commitment that requires better developers.
Look at the crap defenses we had with Goulding and the past two offens...

Agree totally. Kicking the can down the road doesn’t last long. The only coach that is sustaining the Saban method is Kirby. Not Sark, not Kiffen. Sark has his own way and Kiffen is smoke screen. Look at Ole Miss. record against top 25 teams....

I think this is a smart move. QB in DeBoers offense MUST preread the defense prior to snap. Jalen is a hell of an athlete, but that’s not his strong suit currently. If he can learn great, but this guy has a two year head start....
