Ok?

The point is, Milroe made the most NIL $$$ on the team last season. We'll see how loyal he is to BAMA when there's another qb on the field and his NIL dies up. My guess is he transfers in the spring.

If Sayin is the all-world qb everybody thinks he is, he'll start at OhioSt right away, yes? After all, their starting qb just transferred and they hired BOB as OC.

My guess is that he rides the pine.

And if he doesn't like competition, USC won't be a good fit. Their new qb was lights out in their bowl game.

I'm just surprised Auburn did sign him. Or any other SEC team, for that matter.

It's a very curious point you're making.

Why not Kiffin? After all, he would've held our roster together.

Or if Kiffin is the "all world" coach we were supposed to hire to keep things rolling, why wouldn't Sayin already be committed there?

What people are going to have to understand, is that maybe, AND I MEAN MAYBE, DeBoer knows offense better than Saban. Especially his offense.

Hard to believe, I know.

Respectfully disagree. Many came to play for Nick, not Alabama. We were fine with that as long as he was coaching. With him gone you have to build a team that wants to play for CKD and Alabama. Holding on to kids to avoid looking bad is not the way to go about it.

Totally agree. Id rather rebuild with the right guys who are committed to the university and coaching staff than beg people to stay who are viewing year 1 as a “lets see how this goes and then decide” season. Rip the bandaid. Let the doubters move on now and backfill with players excited to be in DeBoer’s system.

Something like 90% of our players came from out of state to play for Saban. We are going to lose some of them and that’s ok.

Kiffin didn't even offer him a scholly.

So... either Kiffin sucks and doesn't know offense (not likely) or he didn't think Sayin was the man.
OhioSt didn't offer either.

Have we seen any confirmation or announcement from Downs enrolling at Georgia? I know some Georgia guys posted in the Recruiting forum that he moved into the dorms but has there been an official announcement by either?

What on earth does this have to do with the post you replied to?

From what I understand, he really like Bill O'Brien for some reason.

Doesn't want to compete with Mack but Air Noland isn't a problem for him?

Mack was brought across the country by Sayin’s new coach with Sayin in the building. Believe whatever you want about how that conversation went, but the action itself is a pretty good insinuation that we like this guy and he’s your age. OSU recruited Sayin hard even after Nolan’s committed and just hired the OC that was recruiting him initially to Bama.

I have no idea which QB is better but DeBoer can’t force anyone to stay. It’s not his fault the portal rules are crap and it’s not anyone’s fault the university doesn’t have the NiL funds that a lot of the upper echelon schools do. None of the sec is going to be able to compete with Texas, California, Georgia money. Hell Arkansas has bigger money than Alabama. It is what it is. Let’s let this coach do his thing and see what happens. There was NO other coach available that Bama could get to replace Saban. The closest is Kirby and he hasn’t arrived there yet and is not leaving his Alma mater to coach anywhere else.

I expect my coach to lock them kids up in Bryant Hall and do Muslim Student Followers of the Imam's Line style hostage taking until the portal closes.

I'd like to say one thing about Mack. Take this any way you'd like. He isn't from Folsom. He's from a little town called Loomis. Loomis is NOT a diverse town and is very small. It's approx 90% white.
There's also a high school in Loomis, Del Oro, yet he went to Folsom. My guess is that he was "recruited" to Folsom, but one thing is for sure, there aren't any ghettos in Loomis, CA.
