I want the seed where we get a home game and get to play OU again.

Well, for starters, this isn't the AP poll. Number of losses isn't the standard. If it was, Bama wouldn't have gotten in over FSU a few years ago.

We got in over FSU because their QB was out, not because of losses.

A few reasons, UGA head to head with OM and Oregon didn’t play in a conference championship.

What about that head to head loss with OU?

Even as a champion Bama still has 2 losses.

Honestly I don’t think having a bye is an advantage. How did that work out last year?

Bama at 4 and UGA at 5?

Why would possibly believe a 2 loss team will jump multiple 1 loss teams. And a 2 loss UGA would only drop to 5?

Even if we win the SEC we aren’t getting a bye week.

The final rankings will include between 3 and 5 teams with one loss, and one two loss team that beat us head to head that are currently ranked above us, and that’s assuming we beat UGA. Even if we win the SEC I don’t see how we jump 5 of those teams to move from 9 to 4.

If we beat UGA we would move up above UGA, but not sure about the rest. I suspect the final top 4 will be tOSU, Texas Tech, Indiana, and Oregon. I think the highest an SEC Championship gets us is 7.

There is zero shot of a bye. If we take a third loss I think we are out.

I’m so glad Byrne never even considered Kiffin. I can’t wait to see Alabama continue to beat LSU.

Whatever happens the rest of the season I am happy with it. When you beat UGA, tenner, LSU and Auburn that means a ton. Anything else is icing

Getting OU in the playoffs would be icing.

I think Tech is going to work BYU.

Conventional wisdom says it is hard to beat someone twice in the same season.

Let’s hope that is not the case next weekend.
We just need to beat UGA, a Texas Tech win would also help.

No, we are spoiled by 17 years of Saban. We don't like enduring this crap.

Exactly. We have to understand that we must endure a drop off. If just anyone can do it Saban wasn’t the goat.
I mean. Playing like this do we really want to have to endure more of this crap this year?
Throwing behind the line of scrimmage is such a bad decision.

He was last week as well. So second time.

Maybe they need to make it permanent

Maybe it was commented on before and I missed it, but is this Grubb’s first time being down in the sideline?

ESPN just put a graphic up that we are a 92% chance in with a win against Auburn. Just beat Auburn and let’s see.

I think the team is going to play much better the rest of way, so it’s not going to matter. I expect three more wins minimum.

I see where both announcers in the texas / texas a&m said before the game that alabama must win the sec championship game to get in.

My guess is they are probably right, if Bama is the only 3 loss team in the top 11. For example if BYU wins their championship and we lose ours I suspect we would be out.

In my opinion the committee is not sticking to their rules that strength of schedule matters.

It’s the same reason BYU isn’t ahead of us now with a better record. They play a terrible schedule and have been clapped by the same team at that point twice.

I just don’t see them letting a 3 loss team in. I think winning the SECCG is the only path for Bama to be in.

I basing my opinion on my distrust of the committee. I do not trust the committee to do the right thing.

Who? So you’re saying Miami jumps two conference championship runner ups?

If the teams currently ranked 1-9 remain the same 9 teams, we have a 3rd loss and BYU winds up with 2 losses what do you think they do? Who winds up at 10? A 2 loss runner up with 1 other Big 12 team in the playoffs or a 3 loss runner up team with 4 other SEC teams in? The committee has already demonstrated they don’t care about strength of schedule, just wins and losses.
