Freaking whiners. It’ll def be an improvement over what we got.

I don’t know why continue to watch this game. Nothing I want to happen ever happens.

The amount of turnovers is insane

What’s your point?

My point is that stats aren’t really the only way to gauge improvement in a football season when win loss record and post season is all that matters. If you think statistical improvement is so important you should be happier with the stats in our loss to Oklahoma this year than our win, because statistically we were better during the loss, except for one category…turnovers.

No one would be upset with the lack of a running game if we kept winning.

Don’t forget the beatdown in the SECCG.

Every team in the playoffs ends their season with a loss except one.

I’m not defending the season as some great accomplishment, but it’s not worth of being fired. That is it, that’s my whole point.

Alabama's final Sagarin rating for the 2025 season is 85.49, or 15th-best in the country. Last season it was 87.89, or 8th.

Impressive cut and paste skills. Remind me, when the Sagarin championship trophy ceremony again?

Who cares?

So you just care that we improve statistically? If the Sagarin rating is better next year and we don’t make the playoffs will you be on here defending DeBoer?

Having the GOAT at your program for over a decade comes with a penalty. Now we have to pay it. We had to with Bear, and now we have to do it again. Hopefully the drought won’t last that long this time.

This board really struggles with reading fundamentals.

I’m not celebrating the results, I’m simply saying this season is an improvement from last season. You don’t fire a second year head coach that showed improvement.

Again, who do you replace him with? I’d love to hear the ridiculous answers.

This is lunacy. If he doesn't show improvement next year, he absolutely should be fired. Period.

How do you determine improvement? Is it making the SECCG your second year in when you didn’t make it your first year? Is it making the playoffs and winning a playoff game your second season when you didn’t make the playoffs your first season?

How in the ever loving frick is having the worst running game in over 100 years of Alabama football an improvement?

Well, most people with the capacity for abstract thought look at the last two seasons and see this as an improvement for the reasons mentioned above. It’s impossible to argue this season wasn’t an improvement when you look at the SECCG appearance and the making the playoffs and winning a playoff game when we did neither last year.

Improvement isn’t based on rushing stats alone. I guess If we have the best rushing stats in the SEC next season with 7 wins will you be happy? You will think we improved?

The notion that we can't demand competence because of whatever Auburn may have done is just plain stupid.

If you think DeBoer is an incompetent coach you have serious problems. He isn’t. But you can’t build a respectable program around firing coaches every three years, it’s just not possible. Your program looks like it’s not a serious program and you loose millions in the process, it’s got nothing to do with what Auburn is doing, but the barn and LSU are great examples of what emotional decision making will do to your football program.

Exactly, look at what’s happening to the barn right now. And again, who do you go get to replace him? I supposed some people think you can just get whoever to come to Alabama, but no one better than him is coming; Lanning, Cignetti, Sark, Kiffin, Smart are not coming here.

Dude just needs to make some staff changes and move on to Keelon so we can see what he can do.
He sounds so much like Saban. It’s depressing. No one could have seen this coming, but good grief it’s hard not to be a fan.
If we had a clone things would have gone better. There just aren’t enough to go around.

By whose delusional definition of talent are you saying that Alabama had a top 5 roster when Saban walked out that door?

This is why we have to give him 2-3 more seasons to see if he can get it right. You have to let this play out until after the 2027 season. It’s Grubb’s first year also, so he should get at least one more also. So many players left when Saban left which had to have an impact. He’s recruiting better than expected and the results were an improvement this year over last season.

I’m not a fan, and I’m not convinced DeBoer
Is the answer, but who would you replace him with? We do not want to be one of these schools that gives a coach 3 seasons to win a championship or get fired. We don’t want to be Auburn or LSU.

Additionally, we have to pay the Saban penalty, you can’t be dominant for that amount of time and not experience a drop off. We just have to endure it.
Is there some information saying he is going to get one?
He may not be it long term, but he’s going to be it for at least 2 more years.

It sucks to not know if he will ever be good enough and just needs more time, or if he’s just not capable. Hopefully we figure it out in the next two seasons. I can’t see him being gone before the end of the 2027 season.

Good grief…why would someone try and defend this nonsense if it’s not even an original thought. People are so weird.

I’d settle for a back that could get positive yards.

Bryce won the Heisman as a true sophomore his first year starting and would have won a natty if not for a plethora of injuries. What lumps did he come with?

Nah man, that can’t be right. According to the dude with his teams all over the country, only a second year starter can be successful, oh and the oline is all of a sudden the most import thing on offense after saying and experienced QB was for the last 2 pages.
