No. 10 Alabama overcame a slow start and a lengthy weather delay to defeat Florida State on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.
The Crimson Tide trailed 21-6 in the second quarter before quarterback Keelon Russell led a furious comeback, throwing three touchdown passes to help Alabama take a 26-21 lead.
Alabama continued to build its lead in the second half, but Florida State refused to go away, keeping the game competitive into the fourth quarter.
