Damn and Mack really tried to act like saban was wrong for suggesting him to come back. His last half of the year was absolutely awful. Just don’t understand him leaving when he has had good tape in a supporting role. Could’ve had way higher stock next year

Kids who don't or won't listen to Saban's advice regarding their future are just not very bright to use a euphemism. Yet we have these examples year after year.

I'm having Adrien Hubbard flashbacks for Mack. Surely, it won't be that bad

Can’t help but to wonder if Mack is thinking right now that Saban was right

Quinnen's brother Quincy, a 5-10, 225 LB from Murray State, got picked over him

Nice advice Todd Dowell, you really showed Saban...

And it was Q's brother. Looks like we should have signed him too.

Yea, I remember folks blaming the coaching for Mack sucking. They blamed it on everything but Mack

Wish they could decide to come back now. I bet they would if they could...

You would think these players would learn to listen to Saban.

I bet Thompsons off the field incident also hurt him.

Those charges were dropped...think his play in the second half of the season is what hurt him. He was playin lights out in the first half but then fell way off...don't know what happened...

Look Saban has a track record of 20 years. He's black and white on this shite and it doesn't have anything to do with our team or needs or anything else.

He knows how good a kid is and where he's gonna get picked. He doesn't miss on that shite. He told these dudes they were gonna lose out if they left. They didn't listen.

If they are ok with that, then that's fine. But the GOAT gave them the info, without emotion or bias. And it's proving out exactly as we all knew it would.

I wonder if there is a distinction between a player who Saban thinks will get drafted high versus a player that will have a great NFL career.
What I mean, for example, the League may tend to draft on size/measurables, but the smaller guy has more "it", therefore Saban figures he can be a better player

Not really sure what Mack was thinking unless he just was ready to move on in life from college bc it was pretty obvious even to fans that he did not have a great year and would unlikely be drafted high
