After taking an early 1-0 lead courtesy of a Jason Torres home run, it looked as if things were trending upward for Rob Vaughn and co. JT Blackwood provided four scoreless innings allowing just one hit and striking out two batters. Alabama would throw six relievers in the game. The group combined to walk seven batters and allowed five earned runs on six hits. A very lackluster showing from Jason Jackson’s group tonight. Not to mention, Alabama only recorded four hits on the night. Half of which came off the bat of Eric Hines. With Alabama’s chances of hosting a regional up in the air, this only hurts their chances. Alabama will head to Columbia for a three-game series against South Carolina this weekend. The series begins on Friday and first pitch is set for 4:30 CT.

Man this BS is getting so old . Wouldn’t bother me a bit if they shut down all NCAA sports for 5-10 years or however long it takes . Let these athletes go straight to the pros . If you are not good enough , get a job or go to school like everybody else . People would be begging for the old days

Have seen a couple of mocks lately and one had Allen as high as 16th pick but most have him solidly in the first round … don’t know how much insight they have but TIFWIW
The baseball has a flat spot on it but Heiberger gets out of the 8th! 3 outs to go
