I Hope Mack, family, and his handler has plenty of cokes and chips for their party because it appears to be endless.

AL.com has an article on this...

LINK

Summary: All of the guys that had Saban's 'blessing' to go early this year were drafted in the first two rounds; the three who did not, are still waiting...

I think he had a higher view of his performance then what he actually had.

He was talking himself up as the most athletic LB in the draft, then Devin White and Devin Bush said "Oh yeah? Watch this..." at the Combine.

They said guys like Cody Ford and Jachai Polite lost money because they were too opinionated about themselves in interviews, so I could definitely see Wilson flopping that too.

I could see him lasting until the 5th or 6th at this point, his "pedigree" is the only thing that you can separate from other remaining LBs. Saban probably pulled a 2008 Draft, didn't give those players any help when NFL teams asked his opinion.

Saban has long made the case that if a player with remaining eligibility isn’t projected to be chosen within the first two rounds he is better served returning to school and improving his stock. Before this year, 24 of Alabama's 31 early entrants during Saban’s tenure had been selected within that range, a 77-percent hit rate.

Anybody remember who the other 6 guys are other than Harrison?

Adrian Hubbard
Bo Scarbrough
Ardarius Stewart
Jeoffrey Pagan
Glen Coffee
Vinnie Sunseri

Think the RBs made the right choice due to injuries and crowded backfields.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with Scarborough or Coffee, although he killed my Niners by retiring. Stewart leaving probably didn't make much difference in his draft stock although I wish he would have stayed.

Not suprising. Mack was a mess a times last year. Although they play different positions I can't believe Kendall Sheffield went before Dieonte Thompson.

Hope Miller can stay healthy in the NFL. Every game is like the SEC West on steroids

Yeah, Stewart was coming off a hot finish to the season. Probably wasn't gonna go too much higher, but he probably could have used another year playing WR.

He had that weird easy drops, hard catch syndrome. Another HS QB who needed time to hone the WR position.

Hated he washed out with the Jets, had been a drought on Bama guys. All good now

After the Louisville game everyone on TV was calling Deonte Thompson the next Sean Taylor....now there have been like 10 safeties taken ahead of him.
He’ll probably be a really nice NFL safety

It’s looking more and more like 5th or 6th round money.

He and Thompson are damned fools.

At least you know the players on campus right now will pay attention to Saban.
