What ive been saying about our defense and its major flaw for years.

The next over the back they call on UT will be the first.

It's top down. You got blatant penalties and personal fouls that are never mentioned by the commentators or replayed more than once. And add on top of that the former officials the broadcasts use to give their "expert" opinion are biased as hell. Those two main guys Austin and Lemonhead are fricking awful.

With the amount of money involved with these games, there has to be pressure applied to someone somehow.

I don't know how or exactly when, but I can assure you it should be fixed enough that college football isn't in danger of falling apart.

And the way to know it is to look at the amount spent on gambling on college football. No way they're going to risk letting that cash cow go. The money guys will step in and get Congress to make changes. The courts may be an issue though. We'll see.

Now, how bad it needs to get before things change, no idea.

Didnt someone on here say that Cignetti did a majority of the player evaluations for Saban before offering them?

Unfortunately we cant afford both.
Cant pay enough for a top HS class then pay to retain them while paying for the next top HS class.

And that #2 recruiting class wont mean shite if we cant develop and use them correctly and keep them. Unless something changes, I dont trust this staff to do that.

I dont disagree but a majority is Oats philosophy. He's more concerned about pushing tempo which explains the lack of defensive diversity or adjustments.

Due to the ball pressure allowing the drive, his defenses require the team to have long, athletic bigs to rim protect and rebound. We currently dont have enough of that and just wont this season it seems.

After watching these last two games, we're gonna have to look at handing out a hard head award
