Did Mack Wilson seriously leave early for 3rd round money?

By skipping his senior season he has potentially given up $15+ million and probably more. Supposedly he was a “me” type player and he’s now the one paying for it. Hate to see it. Hope someone drafts him soon.

Him and Thompson should have stayed.

After the Louisville game everyone on TV was calling Deonte Thompson the next Sean Taylor....now there have been like 10 safeties taken ahead of him.

Dont know if it would have happened butwe could have moved Moses to Mike and put Mack back at WILL this year and Mack could have played his way into the 1st round for next years draft.

Deonte Thompson should have definitely stayed. Think he got bad advice during the season. He seemed to be playing for himself rather than playing for the team. His game suffered and now his draft status has tanked. He has first round talent.

Thompson had a hot start, then fell off a cliff.
Believe he had the most missed tackles last season out of the entire Safety class with 14.

Auburn fricked him up. He got whooped the last 3 games because he was hurt...and on Clemsons last drive he flat out quit.

I wonder what Saban told teams about Wilson. A lot of linebackers have been picked ahead of him. I have to imagine Saban being honest and not sugar coating things.
