quote:

Whether or not those “people” in Tuscaloosa had a tangible influence on Wilson’s plummeting draft stock is unclear, but what was obvious to Wilson’s representation was the lack of constructive support coming from the Mal Moore Athletic Complex once their client chose to leave school early.

“We understand that there was maybe a level of indifference that was placed on him from maybe Alabama as a result of him choosing to come out as a junior,” Wilson’s agent, Che Mock, said later Saturday, without elaborating. “We understand that there was some level of questions (about his) character, for whatever reason, because of the fact that there’s a perception that he likes to, you know, have a social (media) presence.

“But in the same respect, none of that, in the three years at being at the University of Alabama, ever was looked upon (negatively). And for whatever reason, as he went through the draft, it was. Whether that played into (his draft slide), I can’t imagine any other reason why he would have dropped.”

So multiple staff members telling him point blank that this is a bad idea is not considered "constructive support"?

Pretty abysmal article. Seems like no one in that camp is dealing with the reality of the situation and have just stuck their collective head in the sand.

This comment is so damn Bush League and petty!! Seriously?!!!

Saban and staff get their information from the NFL people on where kids may go and then sit the kids down and explain to them, pros and cons. So because Saban thought Mack should return to better himself and Mack chose to go against his advice, Saban basically acted like a 3rd grader and left Mack hanging according to this idiot agent!!!!

Word of advice Mack, if you make the roster and play, fire that dumbass!!!!

Yep. I had hope, but deep down I knew Mack and his camp wouldn't learn anything from his freefall and would pretend Saban sabotaged his stock instead.

"The Alabama coaching staff really threw my client under the bus by giving their honest opinion of him as a person and a football player."
