Lol. I originally thought Oklahoma would be the better program here, but NIL assured Texas would get that honor.

A 4 and 20 two year run for Northwestern isn't "power" anything. It's the city dump of college football. Two good years with Saban will put Rees in line for much better jobs than the Vandy of the Big 10. Besides, that program is in total chaos right now. Could you survive on $2 million a year while improving your status for a really good head coaching job?

If he takes the NW job I'll be glad he's not our OC. With the lack of critical thinking skills like that we're better off without him.

Yes they do and so do us "older people". We just need to take responsibility when we make mistakes.

Well, it appears that today is the day we will learn Pruitt’s punishments handed down by the NCAA, including the number of show cause years. Minus the appeals process.

Hopefully the show cause is no more than a few years with time already served. An analyst role for a couple years like Tosh Lupoi while he served his show cause.

Have any of the past years counted towards the six years?

Even if they do, they said yea 100% suspended from his first year during that period if he takes an athletically related position anywhere

Basically a floating ban hammer

After the NCAA’s ruling, Jeremy Pruitt has received a six-year show-cause penalty for infractions during his time with Tennessee.

If employed during the show-cause, he is to be fully suspended during the first year of his employment.

Sounds like a year punishment with the ability to work after that with a show cause label. I think Pruitt is worth hiring with the show cause.

Somebody will hire Pruitt after he serves his year suspension. You all know it.
