Nine SEC Teams Ranked In Latest AP Top 25 Poll After Week 1

The latest AP Top 25 rankings were released Tuesday following the first full weekend of the 2026 college football season, and the SEC once again leads the way with nine teams in the poll.

Georgia leads the conference at No. 2, followed by Texas at No. 4. LSU made one of the biggest jumps of the week, climbing three spots to No. 8 after a dominant 51-10 victory over Clemson.

Ole Miss and Texas A&M round out the SEC's five teams inside the top 10, while Oklahoma and Alabama sit just outside at No. 11 and No. 12, respectively.

Tennessee checks in at No. 18, while Missouri rounds out the SEC's ranked teams at No. 23.
