I'm slow to mention DeBoer's record because his ascension is so closely tied to Penix. Penix was special on the college level since he was at Indiana. DeBoer turning Milroe into a competent QB would say more about his coaching ability than what he's done beforehand. ...

None of you have said anything beyond DeBoer’s record. Past performance doesn’t guarantee anything especially in arguably the best college football conference. And, DeBoer has never had a good defense as far as I know. In the SEC you have to be good on both sides of the ball.
