Can he be an analyst then?

Our problem the last 4 years has been a lack of killer instinct.

If he can be an analyst then he can still help set the tone for the defense.

if anyone hires Pruitt before the show cause is up, you basically have to do without him doing anything in your program for a year. You put yourself down a coach and down a recruiter for a whole year. Nobody is worth that

Recruiting isn't why this program has slacked up lately.

Our problem the last few seasons has been coaching! It's true. Golden wasn't a good enough coach on this level. BOB was too much of an NFL coach.

Exactly. It’s been coaching. Undisciplined, which is also coaching. Look at our linebackers from before Golding and then look at them during. They were so poorly coached. Mack Wilson regressed during his one year with Golding. We’ve had plenty of talent. Blitzes from the third urinal didn’t help anyone

Your hyperbole here isn't helping things.

We all know Golding's blitzes came from the first urinal.

Our offense had some problems under BOB but Alabama went 10-2 with two top 5 picks and the top QB in the draft because of Golding more than BOB.

At the end of the two losses, the offense put together some things and gave the team a shot to win. Arguably mostly due to Young but they were scoring nonetheless. They lost those games because the defense could not manage a clutch time stop.

Offense wasn’t Alabama’s problem against Tennessee.

They didn’t keep pace in the first half from what I remember. Went on a tear in the second half.

The problem the last two years has been attitude.
You want to see Alabama football watch the NC game against NDame.
We slapped them in the face and made them like it. Haven’t seen them play that ball lately.

Absolutely. Alabama has not been fearsome on either side of the LOS the last two seasons. I'm really hopeful to see a different mentality from the OL and DL this year.

I fully believe that changes this year. Oatis is a freak and I think with Steele the other dudes around him will feast. Golding had everyone playing like drunk idiot.

Pruitt is awesome, but I don’t think Saban touches him.

Dude loved an T-E stunt and a delayed blitz from the ILB.

My favorite was when he had Anderson looping into the middle and an ILB running into his arse when he did manage to slip the guard.

Truth be told on paper since the Covid year our recruiting has been red hot. But, every scholarship football athlete in the SEC is very good. So, coaching is that much more critical. That's my point. Bama pays top dollar for coaches so we should never have to settle for a Pete Golden type coach again who I believe cost us at least one natty by himself.

Do you drive a white truck with Alabama tag "Boz"?
