Milroe must have dirt on saban at this point.

The real question is if we "lose the team" by playing someone other than Milroe, would we even notice?

Our offensive identity for 3 seasons is just fricking hero ball. Like why cant we actually have schemes and a gameplan? Sark took all of that with him I guess, and ever since it’s hope your great players make big plays the whole game. No setting anything up. No exploiting an opponent’s weakness. Just run the same shite every week and hope it works.

We have to have a walk-on that can better at QB than what we are seeing.

I would rather go to a 2 TE set with fullback and snap directly to a RB than see Milroe get the ball again.

why not give Lonergan a 4 game audition without sacrificing his eligibility? I mean the season is over in like 90 minutes, so what is there to lose?

Well, technically we'll still control our destiny as far as the west goes. But I'd still play him. We can't go into 2024 with Milroe as even a starting candidate.

/facepalm

We only have deep throws because that’s all our quarterback gives us. We can’t sustain drives because we’re a boom or bust offense with Milroe

Simpson or Lonergan can actually drive the fricking ball and take time off for the defense. Milroe can’t do that

Simpson can actually use his legs instead of running in a circle

He might run a 4.4 but he may be the worst QB at escaping pressure I’ve seen at Bama since we played Brodie Croyle on one leg.
I’d guess he’s been forced to stay looking down field by the coaches and just stick it out no matter what to break him if running too soon and now he’s just back there way too long bc the OL is pure shite.

It’s probably been beaten into his brain to not take off early.

Not we have the WOAT OL and he’s still got this battered wife don’t run attitude and it’s getting him killed and making him look unathletic.

Just my guess.

This second half will be very telling. Either the team fights like hell, the coaches make adjustments, and we climb back into this thing, OR we continue to run the same shite, make the same mistakes, and lose by 3+ TDs.

The season hangs in the balance and I'm curious to see how the players and coaches respond.

We just have a horrific OL this season.

Amen, preach brother. We can’t even block for a Hail Mary…

Our OL cannot pass block and they make up for it by not being able to run block…

But our defense, at least in this game, is equally troubling. We gave up more passing yardage in less than a quarter to a QB than that same QB had in the entire game against A&M. How do you have an LB covering their fastest WR in the slot man to man on their first touchdown with no help over the top?

We better hope we make some hellacious halftime adjustments…

Get the ball first, Bama TD and its a one score game. Might as well think positive.

This. Offensive identity has been “run around and get open.” Lazy OC hires led to this

Well if we had done this a few weeks ago, we might've played the guy that has a way higher ceiling than Milroe who would've (possibly) been ready for this game. Too late in the season now, but I don't want to be stuck with this Milroe shite next season too

Because the QB we chose doesn’t have the footwork or mechanics to put a ball anywhere other than outside the hashes or 25+ yards downfield. Rees sucks but he certainly has pass plays that include slants and crosses. He just knows those won’t work.

I get where you’re coming from, but an 3 and out or turnover is FAR more likely.

The fact that this post has so many down votes shows that we have low football IQ fans. Maybe they'll jump ship to Texas or UGA... LOL

How great would it be to see Simpson, or really anyone else, trot out for the next drive with Haynes lined up in the backfield?
