I haven't seen Jase pick a good hole all game. He's not our big problem but it's dissapointing.

Me too. There are like 3 people who seriously think he's good. Most everyone else just thinks the QB position is fricked and saw how atrocious Buchner and Simpson looked against a cupcake.

It's not Miloe. He is serviceable.

A game like this will show the players that really want to compete when things go South. The losers limp will be a big item in the 2nd half.
I had said before that Milroe has an I3 Processor and that is false. He is more a Commodore 64
I was afriad Milton would have a Steven Garcia game and so far he is doing that.
10RC is playing the game like Bama teams used to play years back. They are pretty well coached and their OC is givng a clinic so far.

Real talk. If Alabama finishes 10-2 with this team I’d consider it a success. Feels crazy to say it but it’s true. This is a not a good team. This combo of QB, Oline, and OC is a disaster. None are able to make up for the significant deficiencies of the other. Throw in pretty average WR and RB play and what the hell can you do.

There’s also a large group who don’t have any clue what the answer is, BUT they know the answer isn’t any of the other QBs because reasons.

The game has passed Saban by and I truly hate to say that. But at this point it’s evident. He kept Golding around and after losing his goat offensive coordinator he hired a washed up NFL coach whose system was totally different than what you just had won a championship with. So couple those two coordinators for two years and we wasted two top five picks. After the washed up nfl guy leaves to destroy another NFL team he brings in a terrible 29 year old OC with no creativity at all and a guy that didn’t have an attractive resume at all. If we have Dan Mullen we’re undefeated. Saban is washed and it hurts to see.

However if we had a competent OC we could get this rag tag bunch to average 35 a game against the SEC opponents we have played.

I think that Simpson or Lonergan executing an actual short/mid game and moving us away from being deep ball dependent is an answer
We’re way too big play dependent on offense. That’s the only way we score. We can’t convert 3rd and short ever
Milroe can’t make quick reads, and he can’t set his feet often enough to stop overthrowing over the middle. So we give him outs and deep throws. That’s it.
