Coach deboer, you’re hired. Here’s your contract details. Welcome. Oh, one more thing, all personnel moves, games plans, player management etc, you get it, every decision you think you can make, be sure to run it by Nick. No biggie. Ok thanks sign there.

I love how Bama thinks Nick is going to be there to support them. Either he is retired or he is not. I don't see him being there long, if any despite all the wishful thinking. And if he is it may be worse anyway.

You don't think, or You HOPE he is not going to be there long?

Do you HOPE he will be? Either you hired a coach capable of completely replacing Saban or you didn’t. I for no one welcome the many chiefs of Tuscaloosa.

frick Nick Saban. LSU was willing to give you everything but you wanted Miami? Then suddenly didn't?

20 years and his leaving still triggers you. Wow

The tide just went into the toilet bowl with that hire. Either Nick is the coach, or he isn't.. it won't work with co-head coaches.

Bama still going to run the SEC. I know it hurts but you'll have to accept it eventually.

They aren't "running" the SEC now. Georgia has been dominant the last few years and this year too.
The script was flipped over one game this year and a bunch of SEC simps on the selection committee.
SEC was going to the playoffs, but they couldn't send the loser of the SEC title game...

Enough Saban talk & fix your title, Larry

Yeah, Saban is going to still do 50-80 hours per week. He bought the big FL mansion just as a conversation piece.

The fact that Deboer has no top 25 classes is a great omen for Alabama! Keep in mind Paul Bryant Jr is Still there with his money and Support!

What else is he going to say? “Good luck with a coach that has only a few years in Div 1 coaching, that’s never cracked the Top 25 in recruiting and oh is from South Dakota and never recruited anyone in the south?” What could possibly go wrong?

I welcome De Boer to the SEC with the NIL money of Texas and A&M and the old rival teams' battles...... its not going to be like his previous cake walks at Washington !

I have a feeling that was written well before anyone was named and he just plugged the names in and went out on his boat for some peace and quiet!

Breaking his silence working behind his new desk in the Athletic Building. God help De Boer from this shadow looming over him.

Actually his new office aren’t in the football complex or admin building. They are in the stadium itself. Well removed and isolated and mostly just to day he still has offices and is “working”

That was my first thought. What a NIGHTMARE situation.
