Very first one. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t even called a Super Bowl.

Millions are self-deporting and other than incarcerated illegals are caught up in the drag net out for the worse of the worst.
What more would you do and how would you get it done?
Be realistic.

The low hanging fruit are the ones that are already detained.

I haven’t bothered to read the thread, but surely someone has pointed out that in the red state the bad guys that we want to deport first are in prison and will be handed over to ice with no incident.
Construction sites will not be the target and the public will not be able to interfere because the apprehension would be made within the prison or jail.
There. That should clear it up for you
You’re welcome.

What is the repayment schedule? Why is that never even mentioned?
It is as important as any other aspect of the loan.
But I guess since we the taxpayers are on the hook for it then frick it who cares.

re: Am I the only one that religiously uses an air purifier?
Posted by wallowinit on 2/5/26 at 8:17 am to PelicanState87
I have one that I keep in the bedroom and run it when the air is bad.
However, whenever I do something like cook bacon, which I like very crispy, so it smells up the house and registers on my indoor air quality monitor I can turn on the fan on the central air unit and turn up purifier, and it clears the air in the whole house In just a few minutes.
It is also probably 30 years old and is obviously very efficient because it doesn’t register at all that I can see on my electricity bill and I keep a close watch over my electricity usage using the Entergy app.
When I started using it, I had just bought an indoor air quality monitor and was surprised at how bad the air got when I cooked and also surprised at how quickly the air purifier cleared the air in the whole house from one room.

re: How many guys here are rocking long hair?
Posted by wallowinit on 2/3/26 at 11:41 am to StringedInstruments
I started wearing mine long and parting it down the middle about a year and a half ago. I did it as sort of a celebration of hair.
Before that my hair was falling out and was going away. I had a big bald spot in the back at the top and in the front my hairline was just going away. I managed to sort of hide it by parting it in the right place, but I knew it was there and it was coming.
Someone that I know who would know about it told me about a supplement. I started taking it and I’ll be damned if it didn’t all come back with a vengeance.
Even my beard, which hasn’t been able to grow on my cheeks for years, came back to a full face beard.
I didn’t have eyebrows except for a couple of strands of hair for years and now they’re getting bushy and I’ve had to trim them twice.
My Pit hair was almost nonexistent, and now I have hair under my arms. Even the hair on my upper thighs and upper arms has come back. I am blonde headed so those hairs are just very thin and you can’t see them unless you look for them. They’re like the hair I had whenever I was a kid. The hair on my lower legs and forearms has increased as well.
I’ve told people about it, but no one seems to believe me and no one that I know of has really tried it so maybe it only worked just for me.
And it only cost about $30 a month for a bottle and can be delivered to you tomorrow.
I think people think that I have an interest in it or something and that I am just pumping them.
Not the case so oh well, their loss. Enjoy your hair falling out.

I went to Minnesota in August 1979 and returned to Baton Rouge in August 1982.
Besides living in Dallas in 1976 I’ve been in and around the Baton Rouge area since.

I moved away 45 years ago to Saint Paul, Minnesota of all places. Minnesota was like Disneyland back then. The people I knew were great.
I came back home because of family business and I’ve had one hell of a life. Now I’m retired and live in a sleepy little town that I feel absolutely safe living in and walking around which I do.
I can travel to all these other places and enjoy what they have to offer visitors and then go home to my comfortable little enclave.
I wouldn’t trade it for anything right now.

I am quite comfortable here in South Louisiana nestled up against the Mississippi river and quite pleased that idiots from elsewhere don’t want to move here.
