Instead of wasting your money, how about donate that $100 to St. Jude’s and make a difference in the life of a child with cancer.

STFU Moron.
quote:

This person literally got placed into Congress so that they would get the pension afforded to members of Congress, simply because her husband died. She has never accomplished anything ever. How far should we go in celebrating her? Automatic Senate seat? President? SCOTUS?

You really are unhinged, fella. You seem to have an unusual preoccupation with Luke’s death.

Don’t worry, you can donate again to someone else in 6 years. Assuming you haven’t had a coronary between now and then.
quote:

I’m happy for her.

Don’t pretend you’re “happy for her” while spending the whole campaign hoping she would lose.

How about showing some self-respect and just acknowledge she won and move on?
quote:

Correct. She got an easy, meaningless degree and got married to a guy who died. The GOP recognized that they could make her comfortable for life by giving her the slot. It’s that simple. She has done nothing, ever.

Please stop embarrassing yourself.

If the degree she earned was easy why don’t you have one???

Oh, and I forgot to mention, she’s also about to be a United States Senator. Add that to her resume’.
quote:

There’s nothing she’s done in her entire life that impresses me

Most Americans never earn a doctorate degree. Very few become senior university executives. Even fewer serve in the United States Congress. Not to mention that she has done all of this while raising two children as a widowed mother following the death of her husband. And, she’s only 45 years old.

Seriously, dude??
quote:

That I’ve met her, and engaged with her professionally on numerous occasions. She’s still just a DEI sympathy hire and will never be more than that. Awful choice for senate.

Me as well and I was very impressed. She’s accomplished more academically than you.

Just say you’re bummed because your guy didn’t win. Ad hominem attacks are unbecoming.
quote:

Julia isn’t smart, and she’ll drift left to the point that you’ll hate her. But she’ll have her Senate pension in addition to the House pension you all lauded upon her by then. Because after all, she’s a Republican! Her dead husband said so.

Since you’re painfully allowing your emotions to run your mouth, let me ask you this question. What do you even mean when you say, “Julia isn’t smart”.

She has a research doctorate (Ph.D.). And, taught at Tulane School of Medicine. If she ain’t smart, what does that make you?
quote:

This doesn’t make any sense. Fleming is a milquetoast vote for the R’s , and Letlow is DEI. She’s a very unintelligent woman who only even had the platform she ran on because her husband died. If she’s our next Senator we should all be embarrassed

It’s obvious you’re butthurt because your candidate didn’t win but don’t make a fool out of yourself with assinine statements…baw.

I was one of his early followers that were duped. The only way for him to feel it is to demonetize him. Stop following him on all social media platforms. Saying bad things about him on said platforms simply keeps him relevant.

I’m done with him.

I know, skip it. Can’t.

3 day 4 night company sponsored conference at Hilton Resorts World. I don’t need advice on the hotel I’m stuck there regardless.

Been many a year since I was last in Vegas.

Definitely going to check out the Sphere.

Any other must do’s? October and wife will be with me. TIA.

team, but it's not over. Sweep Florida at home (to get to 12 wins) and win 2 games in the tournament and that is 14 wins. That's all we need. I believe in Jay to pull a rabbit out of the hat. If you also believe, smash the like button. Edit: For some reason LSUsports.net game me false info so I have adjusted the path accordingly

Dude, sweep Florida?? This team lost 2/3 to Sacramento State at home when everyone was healthy. A team that is 24-29 on the year and barely over .500 in conference play.

Time to move on.

Amarillo, TX is closer to Chicago than it is to Brownsville.
Watching Jay in a post presser saying he knows what needs to be done to right the ship and then seeing the same shite rolled out again and again against an opponent with a pulse.
Poor Ryan still thinks it’s 1997 and the 20th century. Somebody needs to tell him that black kids today care about money just as much as him and they don’t give a flying “F” about gerrymandered districts.

Having the worst fielding defense in the SEC doesn’t help the equation.
quote:

We've been lied to for generations. We've been told to get a job with a good salary, benefits, and a 401k, so we did. Those of us who haven't done so yet are breaking our own mental stability trying to do so. We've been told to climb the ladder, so we did. Those of us who haven't done this yet are busting our arse working harder and maybe even longer hours to do so. At the expense of our mental stability. We've been told that it's normal to ask for permission to spend time with our kids, so that's what we do. Then we start calculating when we'll have that allotted time accrued back to do so again. Next year or months later. We've been led to believe that taking some time for ourselves is called "recharging" so we can get back to the grind "with a fresh mind and/or clear vision" soon after. We've been promised that a 9-6 or 8-5 or 8-4 is normal, and we're believing it. We've been told that two days a week to ourselves is acceptable, and we squeeze household chores like laundry, errands, cutting the grass into these two days. We work around kid's sports, our own "down" time, and trying to make time for aging parents into these two days, and the evening before returning to work we're exhausted more than we are on worknights. Then we do it all again bright and early the following morning. Before we know it, our kids aren't children anymore and want nothing to do with us. Our parents are frail and/or deceased. We're aging and hurting in places we never hurt before and can't do the things that make us happy as much anymore. Then suddenly the kids are out of the house, we're burying parents, and staring down the barrel of 60 years old hoping and praying that somehow retirement is good to us and we're wishing we had taken more time for ourselves and our families when we still had the chance. And we hope our kids somehow do things differently but are successful at the same time. What the frick are we doing? It doesn't have to be this way. Why have we fallen into this trap?

Truth is you weren’t put on this earth for your pleasure. You were put here for His pleasure. When you stop thinking about your needs and start thinking about the needs of those who are lost; you’ll be so spiritually enriched “the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace”.

All in on Letlow.
At the end, look at the smirk on both of their faces as they cut eyes at each other. What they’re saying is, we don’t even believe this shite we’re saying but maybe somebody else does. It’s amazing how far this country has fallen.
