Feel free to debate me then.

Nothing I said was inflammatory. I gave my assessment. You give yours

Banning me for my opinions is no different than shooting Charlie Kirk for his. But, hey, it’s the world we live in today I guess

It’s good that you know more than how Jay on how he will use his guys

Regardless, he was never going to be the closer.

He’s a rubber arm that can give you volume. And his best effect last year was clearly coming after lineups had seen power arms for a few ABs and then had to figure out his change-up.

I would about guarantee he won’t be in a single-inning closing role again this season, especially in a high-leverage or conference game

Where do we rank in winning titles since Jay’s been here?

Agree he’s hired great pitching coaches and capitalized on the LSU booster resources and advantages to buy good players in this portal era.

It’s just ironic they’ve been winning with pitching and defense ever since the 2023 team when he inherited Dylan/Tre et al and Lipsey purchased Tanks. His reputation for great hitting hasn’t really been the case

Cowan was never going to be the closer

Weird spot to insert him
Dude it’s Milwaukee. Talent aside, these kids haven’t seen the sun since Halloween
Out hit by Milwaukee yikes

He closed games last year. He and Evans both did

Nah. Better as a change of pace middle reliever, ideally after power arm starters
Weird spot for Cowan’s szn debut

that ball was hammered. It was in the 1st baseman's glove half a second after Stanny left 3rd. No one on our team was beating that play.

He didn’t make it particularly close.
Where’s the speed, Stanny?
Good things happen when you hit the ball on the ground, Stanny
Thank God for Yeskie

We did all last year

false. a result based on an Arkansas choke job doesn't prove anything. However, I'm glad they did choke

Sorry Kamala lost. Sun will rise tomorrow

He has won 2 titles in 3 years, bad coaches don't do that.

Yeskie and Lipsey were elite last year for Jay

Jay recruited them. Lipsey paid for them. And Yeskie developed them into what won them a Natty
can't bunt

can't run

can't hit and run

can't manufacture or go station to station

HR or bust, usually

barely top 50 in country in avg. runs/game in 2025 - barely top 100 in avg. hits/game

Again, great recruiter and hirer of asst. coaches. But, aside from the Tanks/Dylan/Tre team, Jay has been highly overrated as the great offensive coach he was billed as
