The media truly brainwashes people.
One factoid I’m going to enjoy using in arguments is summer heat in Europe kills more more than gun violence in America.

Trying to figure out when to expect the “bad” days that I need to take off work and be with her.
They are unpredictable. It’s not necessarily immediately after the dose.

What is the normal course? How long does the misery from chemo last?
Depends on the cocktail and how she responds. Often it’s 3 weeks between doses. It can vary between a couple of bad days or it could be the entire time.
Even if she isn’t ill, high probability she will be exhausted with no appetite. You have to make sure she is eating well.

Is he going to try doing a cowboy drawl for an accent?

Oh so you like working with charcoal which is perfect for all of 10 minutes then you have to figure something else.
And think that effort makes it worth while even through scientific evidence that grilling times makes no difference over charcoal, flame, or pellets.
If it isn’t a long and slow smoke it doesn’t matter. Period.

That’s cute of you to think the only level of heat that was reverent to control were coals.

It's super easy to put a griddle pan over a grill and get all of the same cooking abilities.
Except the size.
A blackstone type griddle makes certain types of food that a standard grill can’t, but also can make a LOT of food for a crowd.
I was the de facto chef for a family gathering and there was no way I could have gotten food out for a dozen people in a reasonable timeframe without one.
There’s a reason why they are at the center of most restaurant kitchens.
Put another way, I’d say 90% of the users went to LSU before 2015

It’s campy as hell almost to the point of being comical…..but Street Fighter.
Chun Li: You and your bullies were driven back by farmers with pitchforks! My father saved his village at the cost of his own life. You had him shot as you ran away! A hero... at a thousand paces.
Bison: I'm sorry. I don't remember any of it.
Chun Li: You don't remember?
Bison: For you, the day Bison graced your village was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.

No, you’re just a normal person in a jet pack with wings carrying around a clumsy vibranium shield for no particular reason.
I still can’t believe they flirted with giving him the super serum only to write the character saying “nah, I’m good. Ima go fight the Hulk now.”
Plot twist: employee is found to not have herpes.
I mean I hope the book gets thrown at her for spitting on the food but I don’t think herpes infections happen so fast that you break out within twelve hours of exposure.

Pfffft.
I’ve had to fight a harassment claim on my Facebook profile because I never deleted photos in my album that *she* took over my account and put there. (With my bemused knowledge. She just took my laptop from me)
Never reposted it. Never attached attention to it. Was just hit by a harassment claim 15 years later.
AKA she went out of her way to look at my profile, and she didn’t like any evidence of a connection ever existing (even though she checked my profile). And it’s all my “fault.”

The degree to which the site has grown in the last 20 years is pretty impressive.
First 10 or so. But yes the growth was explosive.
Honestly it’s been dying a slow death for the past 10.
Even before starting on campus I stumbled upon a decently active LSU fan site (I don’t remember the name and it’s long since defunct) in order to get some inside answers of what I was walking into.
One thing that kept on coming up was a tone of bitterness about those “posers at Tigerdroppings.” There were also fliers advertising TD all over community bulletin boards all over campus.
So one day curiosity got the better of me and I made an account and found it hilarious and engaging, and honestly a firm perspective of the current LSU community. Unlike now, pretty much all posters had direct ties to the campus and surrounding areas so it was an easy way to find out what was going on.

All part of reparations.

The real killer is something you touch on but don’t really drive home.
Consent can always be withdrawn, but it is legally acceptable for the withdrawal to be retroactive. Or at least, they don’t really press to confirm if it is retroactive. Doing so is now regarded as a wholly inappropriate legal attack of “victim shaming.”
Not a “from this point forward it needs to stop.”
It started with feminist therapists a couple decades ago flat out telling their patients that if they ever regret the act, even months later, then it was rape.

Just an asinine statement. Louisiana and Georgia both have two nuclear power plants.
That’s like saying an Hyundai Elantra and a Ferrari are equivalent because they are both cars.
Georgia makes 3 times as much nuclear power as LA does.
Not a single one of my black friends even gives a shite about it. We even advocated removing it from a paid holiday to get day after Thanksgiving off at a start up we both were at.
And how does a holiday like a generation old have foods “traditionally” eaten

Interesting they don’t include the steering wheel checking your skin secretions for alcohol to the bullet points.
