Which is in line with my experiences. It gets reinforced somewhat that the job site uses the same terminology in terms of their HR and attendance polices across all shifts.
Maybe you should consider the root problem here is something all too common on the OT and social media in general honestly:
you just admitted you have had no experience or exposure to that term usage context, and yet felt confident enough in that ignorance to call someone else out on using it in it. It’s only after digging your heels at getting called out yourself did you put any energy at all into looking into it and it was at the smallest of efforts and focused on the angle defending your original statement, not finding out truth.

Just because I express something today (which was asking a question more than anything) doesn’t mean I can’t change my mind later after I was satisfied with the answers to that question a month later.
It’s not an inherent contradiction. And studies indicate the public statement was correct: there was no observed increased miscarriage risk.
You would have had your gotcha if the texts were a month AFTER the public statements.
Sometimes I think we should just embrace AI to tell us how to think because so many’s basic reading comprehension and reasoning skills are so poor.
Or rather, are completely subsumed by this passion to take “them” down in this polarized environment.

Yeah this by itself isn't proof of anything.
You are bringing up back channel messages of asking for more information about concerns, and using it to "prove" that he knew there was problems based on statements he made months laters.
Fauci was an arse for most of this and I personally think he mismanaged it, but this doesn't move the needle. If there was no difference in miscarriage frequency between vaxxed or not, this is a nothing burger.

Here's a clue, in this type of topic, anyone competent has doubts. Nothing in medicine is ever 100% clear, especially early on in new med development. That's the problem. Finding the balance between due diligence and saving lives.

My apologies. I incorrectly framed the argument. And I was wrong in my perception of tuition vs fees. LSU’s own self assessment show how far the the cost of attendance outpaces TOPS.
Stop acting like kids are whiners who can’t pull 30-40k on a part time job, while being at collage, which is something their parents were never asked to do.

Yeah, and because of this, and the fact that tuition increases increases state liability, the state doesn't allow much in terms of tuition increases. Schools compensated by adding non tuition expenses to attendance
Even 20 years ago I paid almost as much, if not more, in "fees" than I did in the TOPS covered tuition.

Pretty sure he is referring to how the concept that you can simply go out in the world at 18 and make your own way alone is completely dead and not true anymore. That is different from sheltered kids needing to be coddled every step of the way.
Look at any chart that shows cost of housing vs income, all inflation adjusted and you'll see it really fast
Its objective fact that the economic situation currently is absolutely nothing like the past two generations.
It doesn't really matter how frugal and responsible you are, you are behind the curve as the baseline on purchasing your first home. Mostly because cheap starter homes almost don't exist anymore

Id gladly take another 50 mph wind impact if I didn't have to deal with the 30 foot storm surge, with 50 foot waves that Katrina fricked up Mississippi with.
Id submit that Hurricane Wilma (ironically also in the 2005 hurricane season) was a worse one to be hit by at its peak vs Camille.
