It’s not a gun. Can’t tell exactly what it is.

I’m just going to say it was the cholos dignity.

Two things can be true at the same time. It's true that the riots are completely unacceptable, and a bunch of people taking part in them should be arrested and/or deported. Also true is that Los Angeles is a huge sprawling city and unless you happen to be in a few blocks of downtown, it's business as usual and has no impact on your day-to-day life.

This was true of Seattle in 2020. All the bullshite happened on 5-10 blocks.

Same is prob true in LA. That being said, frick anyone trying to downplay the optics. If its not as bad as conservatives are making it, then the silent majority of protestors need to nutt up and stop their folks. Where is everyone condemning the violence and looting?

ETA: And how dumb are the democrats? For voters they are OVERWHELMINGLY on the wrong side of the fence(pun intended). If this keeps up or escalates, Vance is going to dance into the Whitehouse.
I hate to bitch because I have friends and family with significant knee and back issues which by my estimation would suck a lot worse due to decreased mobility but hopefully whatever comes next is an improvement.
I wish all that was wrong was a rotator cuff.

According to my surgeon the procedure I had at Tulane in the 90s is not utilized anymore due to long term degenerative issues which is where I am now.

I have lost significant range of motion due to arthritis and bone spurs. I have very little soft tissue in the joint due to the tension and pressure created by the original procedure. This has created a situation where there is no space between the ball and socket so it doesn’t rotate freely like a normal shoulder joint. This has also caused the rim of the socket to become thin and micro fractures to occur and heal and refracture and heal.

The real world result of all this is that any activity, swimming, golf, throwing a ball, painting a room, even casting a fishing pole for an afternoon is going to cause 2-3 days of significant pain. I’m only 40 but the older I get the worse the pain gets and the longer it takes to pass.
Cartels would own it in 6 months and they would be fleeing into Nevada and Oregon.
Original surgery in high school. Pins inserted

25 years later shoulder is trash. Shots are ineffective now. Chronic pain.

New joint going in. How bad is this gonna suck.?

Not that it matters a whole lot because I’m out of options
If you can’t handle them at their worst, you don’t deserve them at their best

Lake houses are underrated

I don’t hate the beach but we’ve done the lake house thing a couple times now and none of my crew talk about going to the beach anymore.

Walking in and out off the boat and swimming off the dock has been the ticket.
Trucking can be a great living but home life is the trade off.

Guys invest into ownership so they can set their own loads and schedules. Then they get lazy or they want to be home all the time and their revenue falls off. Then they moan that shippers don’t want to pay them enough to make their bottom line.

Trucking is a grind. But the guys that hustle can do well.

Friend of the family played for Tulane. He ate 6 times a day to stay at 300+ during the season. It was the only part of football he complained about. Hes been out for two years and has lost 75-80 lbs.

Is this good or bad? Seems like nothing is changing to what is already happening except now schools can pay on their own...

I skimmed through it.

The NIL clearinghouse deal seems like the next lawsuit to drop. If a student wants 20k for a commercial and a Personal Injury attorney is willing to pay it, how is this guy going to tell him it’s only worth 10?

I also suspect we will soon have a players union and/or some type of collective bargaining.

I personally would love for the whole thing to fall apart.

It’s just so disappointing that it’s minor league football now with college jerseys. It’s a system that cannot sustain itself. When and how it falls apart I have no idea.
I wouldn’t go 100 meters from the shore in that thing much less 100 meters deep

3000 meters deep?

Shhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
That fiddle player earned his cut.
I am anti field sobriety tests. I don’t have an issue with breathalyzers and such but field sobriety tests are ridiculous. There are 100 different factors that can skew some hard legs interpretations of your performance.

A good lawyer can shred almost all of it if you have the money to fight it.

The few times I’ve used one of those things I boil the water like a mother fricker then let it get back to room temp. I’ve heard too many of these type shits.
