bullshite. He just needed to step up in the pocket and maintain his footwork. He felt pressure but threw it like he was already being hit. And there is never a small window when there is no one covering the back of the receiver's route. You have space in front of the receiver and can throw OVER anyone in between.

No, pre-season is pre-aseson. The first two games actually count.
You have to BALANCE minimizing injury with being prepared. Not playing before games that count is not balance.

All of those things can result from "lack of sharpness."
If being out of practice didn't effect all aspects of a play, players wouldn't practice everything. Even speed is subject to not being sharp.

It was a joke and shouldn't get anyone upset. However, the distinction between saying X and saying took "it took a lot for me to not say X" is nothing more than delaying saying X.
