I played more EQ than any game I've ever played. Definitely will check this out.

There have absolutely not been thousands of Medieval RPGs that do not feature magic and monsters. The story must therefore rely on entirely human motivations and conflicts. The fact the E33 is heavily French is not more significant a thing than KCD being heavily Czech (is there a long list of games set in Bohemia?).
