A QB is quite different than a DE violently engaging with a OT and putting his lower body under significant stress every play. You’re comparing apples and oranges.

Top 25 rankings are pointless and often skewed to media darlings. Record, excitement and making the post season is what matters, and we consistently did it will the General and will be doing it again soon.

It is the flex and effectively proves my point. By the standards of the past 50 years, he is an elite hire for us, and 80+% of NCAA basketball teams.

This is not a fair conclusion. And honestly, just not factual or warranted.
1. Wade didn’t get to coach in one of our post season runs due to the drama.
2. Our best team under him on paper was during Covid, so we don’t know what they would have done.
3. He has the best SEC win percentage in LSU history, by a lot.
He brought McNeese from the dumps and flipped NC State to a tourney team in his first year there. He is elite by that majority of college BB programs outside of the 5 or 6 blue bloods.

Dude, it’s not tough luck. He wasn’t good at his job. I don’t see why we can’t acknowledge that. Don’t call his character into question, because he does seem like a good dude. But he put LSU BB in the cellar, any comments acknowledging that are simply truth.

I have been pissed about Woodward bending the knee for 4 years. I’m so glad we are rectifying that wrong.
He didn’t have to reload…. Most of his core was the same as the year before with like 25 year old dudes in their 7th year of CFB. This year he has to reload / retool
