Oh, it’s just one spot. I think it’s fine. Yes, it’s potentially leaving out a more deserving SEC or Big10 team, but, really, the chances of that left out team going all the way are slim as well.

This tries to keep the group of 5 relevant and capture that once every so often. A Boise state type team.

Disagree- it's good for college football, and if you're not good enougj to make the top 10 or win your comference, you have no business whining about not getting the chance to prove you can win a MC!

Tell em Paul. My team blew their foot off this year, but I agree that if you're not playing against the big boys, you have no business even stepping into the kitchen, much less trying to make a sandwich.

Couldn’t agree more. Taking up a spot for a more deserving P5 team. While we’re at it kill off the ACC, Big 12 and PAC auto bids.

I agree. Have the 2 top G4 teams play a bowl or something.

This is stupid. A huge reason for even going from a national championship game to a four team playoff was to give the Boise States of the nation a chance.

He’s completely right( take the 12 best teams, period. Conference affiliations and titles have zero impact. The rankings will take care of themselves. South Florida should not even be in the conversation about playoffs.
