Hopefully they just acquit her and end this shite show forever.
Agree. But after the first trial, it’s hard for me to have faith in the jury. I’m afraid it will be another hung jury and there will be a 3rd trial. The Norfolk County DA has no soul and he is in office until 2026, just not sure of the month.

Here’s a 15 minute video of two retired NYPD detectives that follow Karen’s case. They seem like stand up guys to me, I have followed them for a couple years.

I have yet to see any type of prominent media say “ hey wait a minute, none of this shite adds up! Maybe these people are lying and might have actually had something to to with OJO’s death!”
I do feel the number of people that believe Karen is innocent is growing. I’m not sure how much time “prominent media” has invested in following the trial.
Like Mark Bederow said, news stations cover so many newsworthy stories every day. How much time are they devoting to Karen’s trial to know the facts of her case? They just have a reporter hit the highlights each day and they themselves are probably just following it through social media.
Mark’s opinion is that if we ignore everything else and just trust the science, it’s easy to see that John O’Keefe was not hit by a car.

Per the Honorable Mark Bederow today:
“The judge will allow the ARCCA witnesses to testify about everything because the constitution compels that. But not until Brennan makes a mockery of a defendant's right to due process by trying to exclude them from saying anything. And the judge can't resist expressing sympathy for Brennan's predicament and then accuses the defense of engaging in nonsense. All in front of an international and national audience. There is NOTHING normal about this case. One final observation: Brennan is going to fall into the trap and go psycho on ARCCA, which would be a colossal blunder. He ought to worry about his own expert who has fixed the time of an incapacitating car accident as occurring before John stopped using the phone.”

Looks like Paul O’Keefe may have actually done something this morning that forced the court to move his seating position.
Reporter that was able to get in courtroom today said that Paul was either glaring at Karen or making facial expressions at her. Judge told all family members present that it is not allowed and to not do it in the future.
Interesting because she let the Alberts stare Karen down during closing of first trial, enough to where a jury member said they were intimidated by them.

Don’t forget the cell phone disposal
Absolutely! Brian Higgins puts his cell phone and SIM card in separate sacks and discards them into a military base dumpster miles away.
That’s what I do every time my phone is due an upgrade!

I don't know how charismatic she is. But if she is a decent public speaker then I'm guessing she will garner between $10k and $25k per event.
She was an adjunct professor at Bentley College as well as a financial analyst. The interviews she did with Boston25’s Ted Daniels, I think showed she would do fine speaking in public, especially being a professor. Several of her co-workers have donated a substantial part of her defense funds.

I didn't realize the Alberts sold their house.
The home had been in the Albert family for generations. After they kill John downstairs:
they re-home Chloe the German shepherd they had 7 yrs;
they remodel the basement;
they sell their house for $50k less than market value.
The FBI has a piece of drywall that was removed from the house and Karen’s cousin told me the new homeowners let Karen get the basement floor rug that was still in the house. Karen had it stored in a climate controlled building somewhere.

WTF is with all the sidebars
From what I hear, it doesn’t happen with the other judges in that county courthouse. What I don’t know, is if it happens with all of judge cannone’s cases or just this one. It would be interesting to know.

What do you mean @ the DOJ? DOJ isn't prosecuting this it's the local DA.
I’m not talking about the DA’s prosecution, I’m referring to the DoJ hiring ARCCA to investigate this case. They not only paid ARCCA to investigate it, but they are watching the trials and giving ARCCA information during them. If the DoJ thought Karen was guilty, I really don’t think they would be doing this.

Did you interpret my post to be in reference to repairs to KR's Lexus?
My apologies! Now that I am off of Adderall, my brain has trouble keeping everything straight. I read and thought two different things.
Karl Dugal, along with his wife and brother, took John's car to get it repaired to repair damage caused by Karen's Lexus. If it was his BPD car, BPD would have taken it.

I thought it was hilarious that Dr. Wolfe (ARCCA expert) admitted in open court that the Feds were watching the trials and were giving him information in the 1st trial. So for all of the people that say Karen is guilty, I say there is no way the DoJ would be spending hundreds of thousands of dollars and all of these hours on this case if they thought Karen was guilty.

If you are able to follow the Honorable attorney (not what he calls himself, it’s just how I always address him) Mark Bederow on X, he will post about key moments in the trial each day. He’s probably the most unbiased attorney I have ever followed. He believes Karen is innocent but he has always said that he is neither pro Karen or against Karen, he is always on the side of truth.

So crazy that they are hell bent on prosecuting KR with all of this mounting evidence of tampering with the crime scene / covering up the crime. Interesting hill to die on.
The Norfolk County DA’s office has already proven to be corrupt but aside from that, the Alberts are a Canton family of law enforcement/select board members. The DA is protecting the Alberts. Also, I 100% believe that DA’s office is insisting on trying Karen as many times that it takes because they are pissed off she didn’t take the first plea deal they offered her.
They offered her a lesser than Murder2. She said she’s not pleading to something she didn’t do. So that pissed them off and then upped the charges to Murder2.
There is no way in heck they believe they can find 12 people to convict her of murder, so this is 100% to ruin her financially.

there are rumors that the O'Keefe family had some body repairs done to Officer John O'Keefe's cop car. The implication is that a dent was removed around the area that Karen Read's vehicle would have contacted the cop car.
This has to be an internet rumor because I have been following this case since Karen got arrested. There was never a mention of this. The tow truck driver and the Dighton cop never mentioned this. Both of them even stated there was only a cracked taillight which aligns with John’s door camera that shows her bumping John’s car as she was leaving the next morning to go look for John.

It would make sense that the judge would tell the families not be talking to or gesturing towards Karen. I bet Paul did that and told him to change seats.

Not sure what just happened in court. Everyone but attorneys and family were ordered to leave the courtroom and Paul O’ Keefe was in the DA’s office.
They are now back in session.
Update: Only thing different is Paul O’Keefe has changed seats and no longer sitting directly across from Karen. I wonder if he said something to her? David Yannetti is always trying to block him from Karen’s view. I appreciate his efforts.

When the expert said he didn't know what the temperature was in the freezer when he did his test I was shocked. Then he said he didn't think it was important to know what the temperature was in Canton was the night of his death and I was even more shocked.
Agree! Stark difference in how the ARCCA experts conduct their tests and this guy.
At midnight, it was 30 degrees, light snow, 1 mile visibility. 6am it was 24 degrees, light snow. The ground accumulation was approximately 3” at most. Heavy snow and less visibility didn’t come until 8:20am.
As small as that front yard is, someone should have seen a body when they left the house.
