Not break the news to, but when I was a security supervisor at a middle TN hospital, I had an experience I’ve never forgotten.
A very young Asian student at MTSU, died in a single car wreck on I-24. We kept her body in the morgue until her family could fly here. I had to hand her belongings to her parents, and I was so upset that I wasn’t able to speak their language.
I know they knew I was trying to offer condolences, but it still always bothered me that I couldn’t speak to them. I just kept imagining how horrific that was for them to lose their daughter in a foreign country.

I taught my schnauzer how to drop the tennis ball into the automatic thrower. He absolutely loved chasing them. Also had treat puzzles that made him learn how they work, different puzzles have different solving methods. You can put tiny pieces of a treat or even dry kibble in them.

Fun fact for me, as a Navy vet who worked a different flight deck during that incident. Gypsy’s 202 pilot (Cmdr Cook)’s daughter was my primary care physician. I asked her what it was like having a hero for father, she said, “he’s just dad.”
