When State played at Knoxville, they had speakers on our sidelines that amplified the noise. As if they needed that, lol. Coach Sherrill ripped the cord out of the back of it.

I think it comes down to Bama’s lines being better than ours. Bama can give up explosive plays but I will die on the hill that both of our lines did not get the upgrade we needed to be successful against good teams.
If Arnett can scheme up a plan to give us a puncher’s chance, I will be pleased.

The way he can go through progressions and with the our playmakers, I’d say yes. Our downfall will be our OL.

If Bama doesn’t beat us by double digits, I would be concerned. K1 and Fluff both got ankles rolled. Our OL is trash and the secondary will be giving up chunk plays all day long if Smith is ruled out Saturday.
K1 is an elite QB but he can’t block and play defense. Bama -5.5 is the lock of the year.

Our OL will cost us a few games this year. First one comes Saturday. I pray for K1’s health. If he started all of our games last year, he would have ended up in the hospital. It’s a shame we couldn’t convince one stud LT to come to Starkville.

Remember him as a player at Iowa. Had a kidney removed and played college football with one kidney. Titans signed him but got scared about his medical condition.
I haven’t heard of his passing yet but it’s possible it could be true.
