And amount to absolutely nothing and remain relegated to backwoods of Louisiana.

That state is a complete backwater dump with excellent food and a place for the rest of the country to come pee on the street.
lol. Doesn’t change the fact Louisiana is a clown state.

But your point is valid

Dude. Let it go. It goes far beyond football. LSU, and all folks of Louisiana, desperately cling to their athletics as way to validated their sad lives of swamp trash.

The rest of the “real” schools fans go back to focusing on running their companies, practicing medicine or law, or engineering…. They…. They have nothing.

Talk to Indiana about that
They would likely drop one. Why? Because even the strongest SEC teams drop at least one.

If Indiana had a game like they did against Penn State...boom, they lose.

AND that is the difference between Big10 and SEC. Big10, the lower half is so weak, you can afford a bad game and still win. SEC, you have a bad game and the cellar can beat you.

THUS, to stay winning during conference play, you have to be dialed in every.single.week. Its hard to stay that way for 6 months for any athlete. Its hard to manage "peaking" at the right time.

Indiana, right now, is peaking, and looking absolutely dominant.

Ole Miss will begin there decent here shortly.

Unless Golding is absolutely a lightening in a bottle hire and the boosters are prepared to spend some major $$$, they will settle back to where they always were.

I don't see why this is news or anything to celebrate. It just is.

I don’t even know if I’m a fan or not. I discuss this with buddies like it is politics rather than a “college” sport.

Stats are still not apples to apples. You know this.

The reason no one is talking about it is that it’s a worthless endeavor to discuss.
Because it’s hype. And no way to actually qualify it.

And you are a moron for biting on that.

No, they don’t. SEC and Big10, sure. ACC, maybe. Big12, lol, that’s a sunbelt conference wearing the skin of a previous power conference. G5, nope.
I mean, I hate agreeing with LSU fans, but if we are placing bets, that was the best Ole Miss does for the foreseeable future.

You are an idiot if you can’t see the difference between a team that has the resume to be there (but gets blown out) than a team who doesn’t have the resume and gets blown out.

Success is guaranteed each place a successful goes. Everytime. Guaranteed.
This is what college foot used to be. This game is great
No, he did not inherit a Ferrari, or rather, it was a Ferrari but a relic of the past type of Ferrari that was not trying to keep up with newer models.

DeBoer may not be the guy for Alabama (its likely the coach in Indiana), but, they are where they are.
Yes.

The money spent is just a prerequisite to winning. There are other parts, the coaching and general intangibles that must also be there.

There is definitely something to "peaking" at the right time.
