lol. I’ve read some of the dumbest shite on the internet here in SecRant, and damn this takes the taco.

Only one team lost to UH tonight. And that was LSU.
Loser.

Lost to UH. lol. And having to use another team to talk shite.

You are blaming Texas schools being in when LSU is getting its arse kicked? Lol. Loser
re: I finally get LSU fans when it comes to Kiffin . . .

To be fair, Kiffin would has won the first rough, and got pounded in the second. So, is there really any harm?

Agreed.
re: Who is IN for Alabama vs Ole Miss for the National Championship?

Nah. Going for georgia.
re: Is this the high water mark for Ole Miss?

Yes
Sadly. This is exactly right.
Didn’t Florida just win a natty in basketball?
re: Crying Nick Saban seemed to have a lot to say about JMU and Tulane in the CFP

I agree.
That game really just shouldn’t matter. Damn near no matter what happens

The obsession with “rankings” on this board is idiotic.
How about the only one that actually matters for your life? Academics?

They really don’t. And they will fire him in the next year or two. Making a huge mistake.
They literally expect another Nick Saban is out there and that they will get him.

Yup
re: Do Alabama fans like DeBoer now?

As much as I’d love to dunk on Alabama for this, I think every fanbase in the SEC would react the same way.
(Though wanting to fire a playoff bound coach in his second year is pretty insane)

Not well. How’s the couch?
Oh man. I’m sorry to hear that.
Yup. I’ll hear friends of mine complain about their parents, especially around the holidays, usually it’s simply parents wanting to spend time, and all one can do is just kinda grin.
Not saying parental issues aren’t real. They certainly can be. But stepping back from it, all in perspective, it’s a silly thing to be worked up about. The days are few.
Once the umbilical cord is truly cut, and damn near as close to unconditional love as one can feel is gone, the world, and your place in it, changes.
Anyway, good luck to the Tulane guy. I’m sure it’s barely registering anyway, let alone while coaching in the biggest game of his career.

Yup. Just wait until both parents are gone.
It’s feels like every root you ever had is severed.
You may be whole, but you are never put together the same way again.
Thoughts are with the guy. To lose a father at the biggest moment of your professional career is brutal. Especially because he won’t be able to properly mourn and understand what he is going through as he is trying to coach his team.
