Texas' schedule last year was a joke from pre-season. especially given how SEC screwed OU in comparison.
The weak teams they were gifted indeed turned out weak. Every team but GA was in bottom half.
By comparison, pre-season this year, A&M was facing a stout schedule with three top 10 teams on the road, and another two top 15 teams at home.
On paper, that was one of the toughest schedules in the country.
If these teams imploded, so be it. Not A&M's problem, and A&M has looked great against them and just about everyone else.
The funny thing is to see all your hand-wringing and gnashing of teeth. truly enjoyable.
well then, it's a good thing A&M has left no doubt who the best team is

Auburn has close games vs OK GA TAMU (though that was dominated by a&m) Vandy and Mizzou.

In a contractual dispute with issues over black and white terms, and some he-said/she-said that is likely backed up by witnesses and recordings, I don't see this being a multi-million dollar legal fee thing (other than a contingency award).
On second thought, that COULD go in the millions depending on the hourly fee.
Parties are probably best to mediate this quickly unless they really believe they have a slam dunk case. I wonder what the fee arrangement was with Kelly and his attorneys.
