glad they rescued that guy, but I assume he was skiing alone? Can never do that in that type of area that clearly is off-slope with waist high snow.

Was there an avalanche that pinned him. I'm not understanding how is stuck if he just fell into a deep spot. I know an avalanche packs you in. this had to be after an avalanche. That guy is some kind of lucky
