I'd gladly vacate Wednesdays. Hump day my arse.

You need to get something in your life besides LSU football. Get out of your parent's basement, go out and have fun, find a girl (or guy if that is your thing), and live life.

To continue doing what you are doing is just digging you deeper into dispair.

Any State appellate court in Louisiana, or Federal District Court or Appellate Federal Court in Louisiana, is going to rule against the SEC….

You can take that to the bank…ah, gairuuunteee! (long, southern drawl)

The SEC will not get a TRO or temporary injunction from a federal court… they won’t grant it, because of everything that’s gone on up to this point, and the fact that another federal District Court has already ruled in the players favor in Colorado , with emphasis of “at the federal level”… it’s been through a trial… SEC will have to go through an appellate court at the federal or state level…

If the SEC chooses to go there, the season will be over, because the federal appellant level courts will not give them a trial date less than a year… the case logs are too backed up…

Good luck with that. Considering there is a court order saying the SEC can't punish teams for bringing these guys in. The SEC cannot go ba k and punish a school for doing something that was legal at the time.

The temporary restraining order expires this Thursday. The SEC has agreed it will not enforce anything during this period.

They have made no indication on how they will act after Thursday. That likely all depends on how the judge rules. I laid out what I think will happen in the original post. What do you believe will happen Thursday and onward?

Whereas "your school's" (I put that in quotations because I highly, highly doubt you have ever been enrolled at The University of Alabama, much less hold a degree from said institution) best known tradition is:

A song about TENNESSEE where Gumps have added the ever so tender lyrics about holding a girl uptight "against the wall" and my favorite part - F Auburn and LSU, and Tennessee too!
As suspected, silence on your degree/enrollment status at The University of Alabama - Tuscaloosa.

The judge in Baton Rouge is a black, Southern Law School graduate…

The Attorney representing the players is a black, Southern Law School graduate….

The attorneys representing the SEC will probably be White/Caucasian… and not a southern law school graduates… and maybe 1 or more not from Louisiana…

Cry racism against me all you want to, people in Louisiana are tribal and clannish… I’m from Louisiana, 60+ years old and I know the people… cry, racism and bigotry all you want to, it’s going to make a difference… along with the facts of the case…

The judge did not hesitate signing the modified TRO adding the SEC as a defendant this past Friday… that’s another sign that the players are going to win…

The judge is up for reelection in November, as you stated…

Most people from Louisiana have LSU as their second most favorite team, even if they graduated from another Louisiana University… because in football, no other Louisiana university can compete for national championships… it’s the flagship university of the state and most people realize that who are college football fans.

Almost everyone in Louisiana pulls for LSU when they’re competing for a national championship…

So far, The vast majority of these cases have been won by the players… it’s an insurmountable trend, that the NCAA and SEC are continuing to lose… and lose badly…

Add onto this, the Supreme Court ruled that players could make money using NIL… this is part of the basis for the Colorado ruling at that federal District Court this past June…, case law precedences, the most powerful thing in law after the written statutes that have been signed into law.

All of the facts and the momentum are in the players favor…

Thus, the players are going to be granted, a preliminary injunction Thursday and at some point a permanent injunction…

You don’t believe they will appeal if the initial Thursday hearing does not go their way? I would be willing to make a wager that they will. What do you think would be a good bet?

The melts were fun for a few days but I don't really care about the players that much; they're all depth, and I doubt any would be big contributors.

I do think it's interesting that fans and the conference seem generally okay with some ineligible players skirting the rules to play, but freak out when others do it.
