How about my life or your life…

either way, any appellate court is going to have to wait to see if a permanent injunction is issued… Louisiana State District Court. Judge can always wait until after the season to issue the permanent injunction. At that point an appeal would be irrelevant.

And, as I stated earlier, I don’t believe any federal district, or state or federal appellate court are going to issue an order to block the preliminary injunction…

Thus, no relief for the NCAA or the SEC…

I do think it's interesting that fans and the conference seem generally okay with some ineligible players

Who are these ineligible players you keep speaking about? Perhaps you could provide a list.

Anyone the NCAA has ruled ineligible, and then a TRO was used to get around the NCAA.

That would apply to the pro players in question, Pavia, Chambliss, and dozens of others.

The courts ultimately ruled in favor of both Pavia and Chambliss and declared them eligible. Are you saying players should not have the right to have an eligibility hearing? You seem to be saying you don’t believe players should be allowed to have an eligibility hearing.

Have you voiced your disgust with these former players having eligibility hearings scheduled?

92,486. Assuming 30 seconds per post that is 770 hours of posting. Nineteen 40 hour weeks of nothing but posting.

I don’t know what you were posting about, but you spent a lot of time doing it.

Um no, the courts issued TRO's to effectively delay the cases until after the season in question, which is very different from "declaring them eligible." Pavia's case still seems to be ongoing, and the Chambliss case for sure is.

You've been freaking out about players getting eligibility hearings all week. Why are you fine with some players skirting NCAA rules, but not others?

That would be pretty weird if LSUs wins were vacated in the SEC records but not the NCAA. Thinking that is even a possibility is pretty silly.

Well just for the record, teams are trying to win the NCAA championship, and not necessarily the SEC championship.

At the end of the day, I wouldn't care if LSU was considered "ineligible" for the SEC championship, if they got into the playoff (and especially if they won).

Alabama's won what, 2 natties where they didn't win the SEC? Didn't even make Atlanta?

Ole Miss didn't make Atlanta last year, knocked out the SEC champs in the playoffs. Who was considered to have the better season?

Looking at other conferences: in 2024, Ohio State won the natty. Oregon won the Big 10, beating Penn State while Ohio State sat at home. Last year, Miami didn't make the ACC championship, but were the only ACC team to make the playoffs, and they made the finals.

Moral of the story: conference standings and championships don't mean shite anymore. It's a nice addition if you also win in the playoffs, but nobody cares that much.

Conferences will eventually go away when the NCAA is disbanded, IMO.

Will just be one super league.

I have explained this in multiple different threads multiple times. Many that you participated in. If it hasn’t clicked for you yet another explanation won’t help you.

kind of like the hearing in Miss. to see if Trinidad could play. a Miss. judge ruled in his favor. boy was that a shocker!. and then after the trial is over the judge asked for his autograph.

How do you propose we do this? A duel? A thunderdome type fight to the death? Joisting? I am open to suggestions. I am not a fan of knife fights however, even the winner loses in most knife fights.
