She knows how to get attention, has media fluency, and is authentic.
I agree with everything but this. There is nothing authentic about her. She is completely manufactured and fake. If she were subjected to a real interview with difficult questions she would be revealed as the cutout she is. She’s a pretty convincing actress playing a part. And I say that while also acknowledging she has a legit chance to be elected to higher office.

I would add that Pete most certainly has the upper hand on Lane, having coached against his offense in practice.

Wouldn't that go both ways? Why wouldn't Lane have the upper hand since he's seen Golding's defense in practice?

She’s easily the worst politician of my lifetime. I won’t go into it again, but she’s never won a legitimate election, rode her husbands coattails into the position at State, was run-off by Obama, and then lost to Trump. The fact that there are still leftists and feminists that look to her tells you how ridiculous those people are. She’s an absolute clown that never accomplished anything beyond marrying Bill…whose infidelity is a household punchline.

All of this. The focus is always on her corruption and her gross political incompetence is overlooked. She was horrible in every job she’s ever had, yet she’s looked at by a lot of women as this amazing super genius role model. She sucks and had she not married Bill and ridden his coat tails, we’d never have known her name.

I rewatched it earlier this year. I’d forgotten about the tension between Don and Roger through much of the series. It’s such a great show.
I thought it was a fairly generic story and didn’t really understand the hype. It was obvious how it was going to end and she wasn’t a particularly sympathetic character. Haven’t thought about it since I saw it.
She needs to be fired. Who would play for a coach that doesn’t have their player’s back?

People like this are as big, if not a bigger problem, than anything else that’s wrong with our government. Nobody elected this guy yet he’s essentially wielding the power of a senior member of Congress. I have no doubt Congress is lousy with people just like this who write bills and essentially act as proxies for elected officials, wielding power with zero accountability.

He's also a horrible actor.
Jujitsu Jonah is not going to be happy about being portrayed as Bobby. He will have to annihilate someone.

I think he was injured, no? Some kind of lingering ankle injury? I don't think he was ever right that season, but got better as the season went on and his ankle healed.
The entire resignation letter is about what a victim he is. There is no acknowledgement of wrongdoing, no acceptance of responsibility, no contrition, nothing like that.
There's a whole bunch of people at Cambridge and the other universities that hired and promoted this fabulist that need to be fired or 'retired' ASAP. Arday didn't foist this fraud upon the world by himself, he was enabled by a system that virtually guarantees there are dozens if not hundreds more just like him all over academia. There were warning signs that were ignored for years and a whole bunch of people were attacked, penalized, fired, for pointing out that Arday was a fraud. He can't be the only one that suffers consequences here.
