I thought it got better as the series went on. Could have been better, but wasn't bad. And the whole color blind casting thing needs to die already.

His attorneys even cited a movie, the 1964 "Becket" to underpin their argument.

I really don’t think Trump is implicated in the Epstein files. I think his donors are or someone who supports him.

Freeman has accomplished more than Kiffin in half the time as a head coach, plus hasn't had the major failures Kiffin has had.
I don't really like Kiffin, but what he's done at Ole Miss is much more impressive than what Freeman's done at Notre Dame.
I'd have a lot more confidence in Kiffin being successful at Notre Dame than I would of Freeman being successful at Ole Miss.

quote:Right, I thought she was going to lose her seat because her district is going away? If so, then this is the logical next step for her. Look for her to become a permanent 'candidate'. She's got a taste of the grift and she's certainly not going back to doing anything approaching honest work now.
And the TX redistricting looks to push her out.

She’s omnisexual.

Maybe the least shocking headline ever. Thirty seconds with this woman and it should be clear she is a cutout. She’s breathtakingly stupid. Unfortunately she’s provided the template for others (Spanberger comes to mind) to hide and refuse to answer questions yet still get elected.

The show now revolves around her getting laid.

Scott Weiner is one of the more repulsive political figures of the last fifty years.

re: Kelly offered a settlement at 43 million

This is probably closer to a fair present value of the remaining payments on his contract than the $25-$30 million that's been reported. The present value is heavily dependent on the discount rate used. In this case, the risk of the payments is pretty low, so a lower discount rate should be used, raising the present value.

quote:Agreed, I think he's underestimating the hit his reputation is taking from half-assing the LSU gig. He's not going to take some small school job either, his ego won't allow that. He'll take his buyout money and maybe do television.
Other schools saw what he was about here. I doubt he gets any serious offers from schools at the P4/G5 level, if any at all.

I don't think he's going to coach again. The word is out that he was checked out and he's never going to check back in. I don't know why anyone would hire him after flaming out at LSU. What would be his motivation to return to coaching? He's not going to win a championship. He knew he wasn't going to win one here and it's arguably going to be harder somewhere else.
re: Looking back, I think Chris Hilton has been the biggest disappointment
Posted by coolpapaboze on 11/10/25 at 4:38 pm to nicholastiger
I'm not disappointed in Hilton because I didn't expect a lot from Hilton. I never understood the high expectations for him, that he was going to be some kind of game changer for our offense. He's never shown anything liek that in all the time he's been here.
