Who Wants To Go On Record?

The Baton Rouge eligibility hearing is Thursday. How do you think it will play out? Not a discussion of the issue, just a prediction on how the game turns out.
I think the judge will rule that the player is eligible. He is a Baton Rouge judge who is up for reelection in November. This ruling will become his number one campaign brag.
Then the SEC will immediately appeal it. An appeals court will issue a stay until the appeal, meaning that no one can really do anything - the SEC can’t enforce their new rule, but the player is not eligible to play either.
The appeal is delayed until the winter. By then the season will be nearly over. And the player will have almost exhausted this mythical 5th year of eligibility.
I do think an appeals court will side with the SEC, that they can enforce rules that all member institutions have agreed to and voted for. They won’t say the player is ineligible, but they will rule the SEC can enforce penalties against a member institution who puts one on their roster.
Then the player (or their lawyer) will have to decide whether to file another new lawsuit or not.

It isn’t about the city of Baton Rouge. Every single state has these corrupt judges that can be bought and paid for by those with money. This question is simply about the LA hearing. It is a foregone conclusion.

Do you really think it is a coincidence that every single one of these judges just does what they deem best for their chance at reelection, law be damned? The system is corrupt.
Should Chambliss be playing? A MISSISSIPPI judge said so. Should that Texas OL be playing? A TEXAS judge said so. Should these losers be playing for LSU? A LOUISIANA judge will deem it so … List goes on and on

And it would be really be funny to see them have to vacate any Wednesday they get using players that weren’t eligible

This has to go to a federal level. The states are too invested to provide an independent judgement

That would be pretty weird if LSUs wins were vacated in the SEC records but not the NCAA. Thinking that is even a possibility is pretty silly.
