The United States Supreme Court has already said conferences can make any rules they want. These TRO's are flying in the face of that ruling. If LSU plays any of these ex-NFL players, they're gonna get arse raped when it's all said and done.

I believe an injunction will come Thursday which will result in only one LSU player being able to play against Clemson. However, the others will join the team before LA Tech. The SEC will then try to take this to the LA supreme court which will take nearly the entire season. They could also sue a handful of members which would be a complete shitshow and is very unlikely.
Ultimately, the SEC is just posturing. The players will play, and everything will be fine. This board will try to sustain the moral outrage but will be unable to do so when their schools are doing the same thing.

NCAA v. Alston - individual athletic conferences are free to impose their own rules, including stricter regulations than what the NCAA requires.
Again, this will not end well at all for LSU and they're digging their own grave.

The SEC hasn't said anything about players getting a medical redshirt. They have absolutely said "NO" to ex-NFL players.

Chambliss didn't get a medical redshirt, he got a TRO to circumvent the NCAA.
According to SEC bylaw article 14.01.01, players must be in compliance with all NCAA rules to practice, receive aid, and compete.
As far as the NCAA is concerned, Chambliss is ineligible. His request for a medical redshirt was denied twice.

Medical hardship waiver != signing an NFL contract, participating in NFL practices, getting cut, returning to college.

Correct, the players are ineligible for two different reasons, but they're all ineligible at the end of the day.
The question is will the SEC enforce its rules equally?

Again, no one got a medical hardship waiver.
All players are ineligible and all are in violation of SEC rules, outside of any injunctions.
