the most egregious mistake was thinking you didnt need a backup qb or a guy just in case reed was shite. they didnt get a qb out of the portal and they have nobody to turn to.

and I dont want to hear the excuse that you cant get any decent qbs out of the portal if they arent guaranteed to start. Oregon got Dylan raiola from Nebraska as a backup to Dante moore out of the portal. Dylan started at nevlbraska and he came in and played great this past Saturday.

hell,lsu got human longstreet from usc ,he was a freshman at usc last year and played well when he got a chance,he was a 5 star recruit and we got Landon Clark from a small school but he was the fcs player of the year last year and has played well when called upon for us this year, he would have great stats if all of his passes werent dropped by backup receivers.

the point is they could have went and got someone in case Marcel Reed didnt improve In the off season . nobody thought he would regress though.
