I like most of the other names in your post, but hiring a coach solely because they get lucky for a game or two in the Tournament doesn't work out (Andy Enfield).

Our next coach needs to specialize in identifying undervalued raw talent and player development. LSU basketball will never have financial resources compared to most of the SEC. We also need a coach, like Will Wade, that gives LSU basketball an identity.

Of everything to complain about with McMeh and the current state of the program, Givens is the top of the list. How McMeh keeps giving a player that much playing time with disasterous results should count as causation to terminate his contract.

We sit behind the visiting team's bench. During the Tennessee game, Rick Barnes told his team "Keep leaving 3 open to take the shot. He can't make shite."

Agreed, the student section is in the perfect place. I go to almost every home game and sit next to them behind the visiting team. The few students that do come and care about basketball are able to interact with the visiting team. Some of them are really good at it and definitely get into their heads. A few years ago the students would have to be protected by security to keep the opposing team from coming after them. If we can't put a good product on the court, at least that is fun to watch.
