Winningest coach in Notre Dame history.

Yet zero hardware. There are 6 coaches with at least 50 games as ND coach with better winning percentages. 5 of them with actual national titles.

Brian Kelly was good enough to stick around for a long time despite not being able to win a big game. If Kelly has to play a service academy in the playoffs, you guys are set.

Cool. So you shouldn't be worried.

So you're telling me that Kelly won almost 3/4's of his games and Notre Dame, one of the most blue blooded of blue bloods was happy to pay for 12 years?

Cool. Sounds like we made a good hire.

We turned relative unknowns in Saban and Miles into championship coaches, and a known loser into the HC of the GOAT 2019 champions. I like our chances with Kelly.

Next question?

Why are you so worried about what other team's fans think of your new coach?

So again, why are you so worried about Brian Kelly?

What makes you think anyone is worried about him? Most people on here laugh at him and his cringy gay dance videos.

He is taking over a team that has not had a winning record in the last two years. Nobody is worried about him. I am more worried about your players that he likes to grind with. They refer to him as "Grindin' Brian". Reminds me of when Herman used to kiss all of the donghorn players before each game.

Why are you so worried about why I'm worried about why so many posters are worried enough about a guy that hasn't coached a game yet owning a quarter of the front page?

If you think posters starting threads and talking about your coach is a sign of being worried about him, then y'all must be terrified to death of Jimbo

Just got to squeeze that Texas game in, otherwise the whole narrative falls apart.
Texas was ranked in the final poll iirc, and they suffered massive injuries during the year.

Brian Kelly is a good coach and man. He was one of the men who built our program up. He will win big at LSU.

During his 12 seasons at Notre Dame, Kelly finished with a record of just 4-11 against opponents that ranked in the Top 10 at the time of the game, including going just 2-5 during the "turnaround" seasons from 2017-21.

I'd guess that outside of Saban, Rockne, and maybe Urbs, no coach fares well on this stat.

Anyone know how Kirby, Pat Dye, and Fulmer did vs top 10 teams?

LSU fans love selective statistics. They’ll pump sunshine up their own arse and label any opposition blasphemy.

That will all change when Kelly consistently goes 9-3 and never wins anything of worth.

I love it when Aggie brings up LSU's record the last 2 years.

Yes, we went 11-12. You know what that 12th loss was?

It was when we had 39 scholarship players and no QB, yet we showed up to play KSU in a bowl game because we stood by our commitment.

That's what LSU and most SEC schools do.

And then there is Aggie.

Of course some SEC fans are worried about what LSU Football will become under Brian Kelly. Our last two HC's were average at best but both won a NC at LSU. It will take a couple of seasons, but BK's LSU teams will contend for SEC honors soon enough.

Yes... and neither has a championship in the SEC. Of course... we'll see who wins a title first.
