I think so too. Basketball technique has come a long way. Plus African Americans can play now and they're much more athletic. Caitlan faced better competition than Pete did.

Please explain to me how the Big 12 is not the worst “power 5” conference? Not with anecdotal trolling but with substantive evidence, please.
The ACC is being held together by a GOR because no one saw any value in them. The schools you mentioned will jump to either of the Power 3 conferences that will take them in. Why people continue to refer to the Pac and ACC as being on the same level or above the Big 12 is beyond me.

"Good role model"? At what? If you remove the words "black" & "race" from her vocabulary she's couldn't write a children's book. She is a great coach but like Bobby Knight's style / persona, she's not one I'd send anyone's daughter to play for. Tanner won just as many national championships in a lot tougher, competitive sport / league.
