We can take an inexpensive look at him for a year, see what we have, then decide what to do after that. These are as smart a moves as breaking the bank for a "proven" guy like last year, maybe smarter

I don't care who won buddy. I hate that it comes down to who pays the most for players in, what was supposed to be, an amatuer sport. Then idiot Beck comes out and says he hasn't gone to class in 2 years. College football has officially become high paying semi pro, minor league football. It's stupid

This new college football aucks
I'm surprised that there hasn't been an NIL fee added to tickets, merchandise, concessions at games, etc. Then fans can decide whether to contribute or not by whether or not they buy/attend.

Hell have damn collection bins inside games for people to drop anything from checks to change.

Then when the product is shite, people won't buy, incentivize the powers that be too. They're trying to make the players and coaches accept incentives
My son is 10 and told me this season was good for Auburn because we were ranked for the 1st time ever when we were #22. It's a shite mess. We have the dumbest smart people at the controls, and that will never change.

At the end of the day, in 10 years, Oregon has as many reason to honor this years football team at halftime of a game as we do. The difference is they spent $40 million on a roster, and $11 million on the coach, but have nothing real to show for it. That's what wild spending, and outbidding to overpay gets you
I think the Oregon job could end up being a mess. If Lann9ng doesn't give Knight something more than playoff appearances to show for all that money he invests, he will get fired. The next guy will be on a short leash too. Oregon is a tough place to win at apparently. They keep firing guys with a loaded roster it will be a less appealing job. Lanning has gotten destroyed the last 2 years in the playoffs
Every school has to decide what the max they are willing to spend on a player and stick to it. There is no point in trying to outbid anyone just to prove we can. They will be a lot of players getting paid way more than they should, I hope to keep the number we do to a minimum
Don't let Jang fool you, he knows his way around the IHOP salmon
Before long we are all going to be the guys that meet at Chick Fil A, buy 1 senior coffee, then drink 4 hours of refills while we solve all the world's problems
Kids can still sign, just not enter the portal or make visits?
If that's the performance we got out of a star former ACC OT , I will take my chances with the new guys
