I keep seeing he’s a bad culture fit, but I never see the culture identified. LSU just ran off a Cajun because he couldn’t win anymore. Kelly brings a winning culture and that is what LSU wants. I know I won’t get real answers here and it will go like this.

- Brings murder culture (bama fans)
- Can’t win NY6/BCS bowls (A&M fans)
- He’s just a bad culture fit (uga fans)

A&M fans bring the best/most factual stance that can’t be argued until Kelly wins big games in the sec and big bowl game. Anyways, see y’all September 4th.

During his 12 seasons at Notre Dame, Kelly finished with a record of just 4-11 against opponents that ranked in the Top 10 at the time of the game, including going just 2-5 during the "turnaround" seasons from 2017-21.

Winningest coach in Notre Dame history.

You didn't answer the question, and you were the first reply.

So again, why are you so worried about Brian Kelly?

Probably love the fact that Kelly grinds up on other dudes.

Remember when Dan Mullins dressed out a recruit’s fat dad? That kind of culture.

Flawed statistic. He also coached more games and lost more games than any coach in ND history.

Rockne, Parseghian and Holtz also all won national championships.

Well you asked.

I believe he is a no-nonsense conservative coach. I don’t believe he is overly aggressive. However, I don’t believe he comes across as an SEC southern coach. However, he has a pedigree and a history of winning at high levels.

So I feel his ONLY drawback (if it even is one) is just his ability to connect relationship wise with players based on where he’s from.

If he wins at high level that will be quickly ignored. If he doesn’t it will be quickly and easily exploited.

I think his “lock down our state” approach is a good one because it limits this a lot. But it will babe hard for him to convince mommas and poppas in the south that he understands their kid based on the fact that people are sometimes very skeptical of northern folks at times.

Apart from that, I think he’s a good coach.

My biggest issue is the contingency plan if he doesn’t work out. Y’all gave him a 90 million buyout. Guaranteed. That a ton of coin to come up with if he doesn’t work out.

Yes, because all successful SEC coaches were from the South.

They're too stupid to understand that.

I just tend to not care.

Notre Dame isn't LSU.

And there's no reason at all for you to worry.

I said if he wins, it will be easily ignored. Don’t take what I said out of context.

I read this as "I really try to pretend his abysmal track record doesn't exist."

That's not surprising.

Alabama fans do struggle with reading.

I would agree with you that he has an abysmal bowl record so again, there's absolutely no reason for you to worry about LSU and Brian Kelly.
