I wonder if PP7 and Badger get in. Should.

2011 bama was a beast even with 1 loss, they would get my vote.

re: What if OM LSU come in 1-1?

Anything is possible. That said, LSU got a road win against a proven QB with a 7-6 team under Kelly last year. I REALLY like our chances with this team in BR. I'd be surprised if LSU doesn't win by at least 2 scores.

I have no problem with Bama getting that title, they won it. I just think it is absurd that Bama fans tried to say that team was better than LSU's 2019 team.

If Nuss had truly been healthy, I believe he would have been in the Heisman hunt. It turned out well because Kelly is gone and we got Lane. There is no need to pump the brakes. We have a playoff caliber roster. Staying healthy is needed for any team with playoff aspirations, but if we do, we will be in the conversation for a Natty. :geauxtigers:

re: Why am I supposed to be so mad at Wade signing "pros"?
Posted by PurpleandGeauld on 5/20/26 at 4:04 pm to Lsuhoohoo
I remember back in the day The USA had to send truly amateur athletes to the Olympics, while the USSR, China, etc. sent athletes that were actual pros getting paid salaries from their governments. What a crock that was. Who the heck does the NCAA, or anyone else think they are by mandating how much money people can make. Give all people 5 years eligibility and let the bidding begin...

Yes. It was destroyed in Noah's flood. It has been rebuilt in Antarctica by the Nephilim and is there right now.

Cade should not have had to share SEC player of the week
Posted by PurpleandGeauld on 4/6/26 at 2:22 pm
The other guy had a great week, but Cade was clearly better.
Co-Player of the Week
Cade Arrambide, LSU
LSU’s Cade Arrambide batted .600 in three games last week with four homers, eight RBI, six runs, three walks and a .692 on-base percentage. Arrambide became just the fourth player in SEC history to hit four homers in a game in the Tigers’ series-clinching win at Tennessee on Sunday. He was 5-for-6 on the day with seven RBI, three solo homers and a grand slam that highlighted LSU's 10-run outburst in the top of the 12th inning. His first homer came in the fifth inning with LSU trailing 5-0 and began the Tigers' comeback from the deficit. His second homer in the seventh inning reduced Tennessee's lead to 5-3, and his third homer gave LSU a 6-5 advantage in the top of the 11th.
Co-Player of the Week
Tre Phelps, Georgia
Georgia’s Tre Phelps led the Bulldogs to their first SEC road sweep over a top five opponent since at least 1990 as the Bulldogs swept No. 4 Mississippi State as part of a 4-0 week. Phelps hit .421 for the week (8-for-19) with three home runs, eight RBI, and six runs scored. He set the tone for the Mississippi State series with a three-run home run early in game one. Earlier in the week, Phelps capped an eight-run outburst with a two-run home run in the eighth inning of the14-9 win over Georgia State.
