Bama's switch to a spread you out passing attack plays right into our defense's strengths.

I guess, right after the Tennessee game, they'll have to take a look at just what that juggernaut of an offense Florida has to put up 20 on that stellar defense. I mean Franks is fairly comparable to Tua. And the 4 wide outs and TE's too. And RB's.

You continue to post these stats without considering strength of schedule. Bama is just another soft spread passing attack now. It's a shame that they went away from pro-style, so they could be like everyone else. Your offense will fare about like Ole Miss against us.

Florida is a tough physical run first offense. Bama has gone the way of the Spread Passing attacks. It's sad really.

If you really think Miami is the number 1 defense in the country then there’s no hope for you.

rushing offense

UA #29
LSU #37

You're the exact silly trash talking type LSU fan to whom I am responding in this thread

UGA had the #1 scoring D in the SEC until we played them. Was pretty good at stopping the run as well..

You don't think Bama has a physical run game:

D Harris, N. Harris, Jacobs, Robinson.

Better than LSU's

Georgia obviously wasn’t as good as advertised.

Please, inform us of a better environment? I know you're not going to say the Colosseum against one of your whack rivals...
I think it is a great environment for big games. But almost every team that plays at night against a big opponent has a great environment - even the lesser teams. That is what makes the conference great.

But let's not act like that the stadium isn't empty for most teams outside of an Alabama, Auburn, or some other team that is randomly good.

Congratulations for being able to run on teams not named LSU.
Spread offenses don't match up well with our defenses. Simple as that.

No, GA's ranking was riding the coattails of last years accomplishments. It's obvious they aren't playing as well this year as they did last year. Fromm's qbr is down almost 10 points from last years, when comparing the first 7 games of both seasons. Also, GA is down on defense this year as well, dropping from number 6 overall last year to number 13 this year (still really good obv). Point is, they are down on both sides of the ball.

I like that we get to play a defense that is statistically better than Bama in every category this weekend in a similar environment. We need to show we can overcome MSU's stingy D to give me more hope against Bama's still damn strong D.

We did pretty good against offensive groups that are statistically better than the same group for Bama other than scoring (Ole Miss passing, UGA rushing).

Of course Bama has been successful against better individual units than where LSU is statistically, but we already know they are in good shape to win.

Their average margin of victory was 30 PPG before LSU. They may be "down", but it wasn't exposed until they played a team worth a shite.

aTm is Bama's biggest test to date. They have 2 losses and barely beat Arkansas (OT) and USCe (2 points) who are 4-9 on the season.
