Not a sky screamer at all, just a realist

It hilarious how often you screaming pussies call yourselves realists.

Have a hit you are getting emotional

I am emotional, just not in a womanly, unstable way like you are. It’s amusing watching you mental midgets melting.

Not really relevant since he made the CWS finals in his 1st season.

Returning production doesn’t matter? Well, that’s just stupid.

Especially since Jay’s 2nd season, in which he he returned a ton of production from 2022, they won a title.

quote:

Arky always chokes but at least they are in the Top 25, plenty of Tiger fans would trade for that. Besides Arky does not set the LSU standard.

Not too 25 for much longer. Not to mention all the same retards melting now, you included, were pining for “Arkansas success” prior to Jay winning his 2nd title in 3 seasons.

quote:

How about this context: a Championship coach that is the highest paid in the country should have the foresight to construct his team to be competitive every year. He has admitted to his failings, but people keep trying to make excuses for him even though he doesn't make them for himself.

Also, the context of my reply was in relation to the OP, winning a Championship is not an excuse to shite down you leg.

This is melty, sky screaming nonsense that doesn’t deserve a reply.
quote:

We all questioned the caliber of their coach last year. Jay supposedly out-recruited him and out-NIL’d him after the season.

How did the Coastal Carolina coach build a better team? What was Jay’s blind spot?

I’ll ask again since apparently no one wants to answer:

How much of their roster returned?
quote:

Tell that to Coastal Carolina, they are in the top 10

The excuses on this board are ridiculous.

How many players returned from last seasons team for them? UCLA was in Omaha and is the best team in the country because just about everyone returned.

Arkansas is struggling too. Why? Because they lost a ton of production.

Context matters.
quote:

Reading is hard huh? I didn’t ask when they missed the tourney. I asked when were they this bad?

I gave you the 3 worst seasons since Skip.

I’d say that 29-26 season was pretty fricking bad, wouldn’t you?

This is absolutely the equivalent of a 3-9 season in football at a blueblood program. It wouldn’t be tolerated

No, it’s not.

They are 6-14 in the SEC!

So?
I can remember before he transferred to Vandy I caught a couple of his games at New Mexico State. I thought he was a baller who was fun to watch. I even rooted for him his first year at Vandy.

But man, talk about revealing your true colors. He’s a massive shite head.

Amusing quip from the poster who spent the last 4 years defending a basketball coach with zero accomplishments.

Your schtick has run its course.

Yeah man. 1 title in 15 seasons was definitely more palatable than 2 titles in 5.

My God you people are fricking ridiculous.

Right, since you’re such a wonderful poster and the gatekeeper of such things.

Oh I’m better than you. Also the fact you regularly get dragged even on the Tiger Rant tells me all I need to know.

If Ryan Day went 3-9 after winning a national title, he’d be fired. Period. And a tradition rich Ohio State program would be confident they’d find someone better.

LSU being .500 isn’t the same as going 3-9 in football, and Johnson has 2 titles, not 1.

Comparing across sports is stupid to begin with, but the only comparable coaches to Johnson would be Dabo and Kirby. So go ahead and say with a straight face that they would be fired after a .500 season, because Dabo just went 7-6 with a team that started out ranked top 10.

Might work out better.. maybe I can take advantage of the situation and get into the 2027 draft

Oh yeah I’m sure you can.

I’m annoyed and I have 1.04 in a league that needs WR

I mean, there’s a clear top 4 and they all went to places where they can succeed.

Just take whichever of the 3 receivers is there (Tate, Lemon or Tyson) and call it a day.

ETA: I have the 1.04 in a 12 team and will be doing exactly what I said. It’s not even a sweat really. I’ll be happy with any of them.

Crazy. Not that long ago Achilles was a career ender.
Pavia is gonna be a menace in the UFL.

I thought the story was Tre wasn't supposed to be crashing in on that?

Why would the 1B not be crashing down with a runner on third in that situation?

You aren’t content with trading an out for a run there.

We had 3 fricking preseason All-Americans. Does 6-14 in SEC sound like that fits to you?

Too bad winning a baseball game takes way more than 3 preseason AAs.

Friday Starter
Saturday Starter
Sunday starter/1st Pen Arm
Catcher
First Base
Second Base
Third Base
Platoon Right Fielder
Designated Hitter

That is the regulars that LSU had to replace coming into 2026. 2 of the 3 returning position players and a pitcher who completely changed roles (leaving a hole to fill at the closer spot) were preseason All-Americans. Big fricking whoop.

That is a shitload of production you have to replace.

To be Alex Bregman. Anything less is failure.

*Ignore that he is pretty clearly the best all around shortstop LSU has had since Bregs, and better than quite a few that came before him.

it's difficult to do all this and win the CWS. it shouldn't be difficult to do this and look like a competent college baseball program, especially at the best program in the country.

Missed on most of the transfers and have had a rash of injuries to starters.

Even then, this team is losing close games because of mistakes, not getting walked off the field.

I know the idiots will latch onto this and start spouting off about moral victories, but it is what it is. They’re losing a ton of close games and can’t seem to figure out how to flip those into wins.
