How many players returned from last seasons team for them? UCLA was in Omaha and is the best team in the country because just about everyone returned.
Arkansas is struggling too. Why? Because they lost a ton of production.

That is the regulars that LSU had to replace coming into 2026. 2 of the 3 returning position players and a pitcher who completely changed roles (leaving a hole to fill at the closer spot) were preseason All-Americans. Big fricking whoop.
