Cotton creek has more character. Much more of a shot maker’s course. Different clubs and shots required off the tee. Cypress bend is a wide open resort course. It was pretty bland to me.
People saying Burns can’t close are fricking retards. He started the day 7 back. Shot -3, second lowest round of the day. Finished 1 back of the leader. He did what he could in a US open set up, but Clark made the putts he needed to.
UGA is great, but it’s still fun to watch the Horns meltdown.
Schloss’ teams play with a stick up their arse when they get to the CWS more times than not. Best year he had in Omaha was the year he was leaving for another school.

I’ve never had a bad experience at Windswept, but I think I’m going to give Indian Bayou a try this time around since it’s so close to my condo.Heading there the last week in June, so I’m also interested in the current conditions of the course.

I mean the season ended in a game that was a complete microcosm of the season.

Either the offense was good one day and pitching kept it in us the next. They were never able to put together complete team performances throughout the year.
Kiffin should have told the PMT guys in confidence and allowed them to break the news. Would have been an epic inside scoop.
I love when the announcers “take a look” after the crowd throws a fit and they’re dead silent after the replay.
Never seen so many issues getting the lead out at second base in my life. Who the frick coaches infield on this team?
What a job by Patrick. Just shorten up and hit one to the backside. Exactly what Jay has been preaching. Didn’t try to hit the big go ahead bomb.

Jay has got to get a feel for this team. Trust guys who are throwing strikes in the moment and yank guys who aren’t. He’s making decisions in past performance and this team isn’t consistent enough to do that.
We just do everything wrong in big moments. Signs of a mentally weak team.
State has some dumb fricking baseball fans for as big of a fanbase as they have. The strike and ball groans from them today have been egregious. To go along with that call at second there.
The freshmen on this team are about to show these old head transfers how the fricking LSU Tigers are supposed to play bal.
At least Reaves will look pretty as he strikes out.

The umps have been letting their catcher frame pitches all weekend long. I would love to see an ABS breakdown of the series.

That’s the benefits of having a catcher on the roster that knows how to receive the ball.
Our guys are trying impress their coach so hard today and hit backside line drives. Unfortunately it’s either caught or popped up.
I feel like there has been a million center cut fastballs from this guy, and we haven’t taken advantage of a single one.
There’s better things to watch brother. I’ve realized that’s it’s just miserable baseball to watch, whether they try to come back or not. You’ll get you’re blood pressure down if you just don’t watch.
As much as we are replacing fielders at this point in the season it makes no sense. Play them straight up and see what happens. We still don’t have a set 3rd and 2nd baseman, and we are still shifting. No way they can get comfortable and confident.

The defense is it what it is. We have to hope this team somehow gets scorching hot with the bats. Pitching staff is average with no ace. If they don’t get hot we miss the tourney, if they do get hot we lose in a regional final. Tough season.
